Bread "Winter's Tale"

Bread Winter's Tale

Ingredients

orange 1/2 pc
peanut ~ 20 g
egg 1 PC
milk ~ 100 g
sl. butter or margarine 20 g
flour 350 g
salt 0.5 tsp
sugar 1.5 - 2 tbsp. l.
dry yeast 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • You can take a whole orange, I think it will be even better. I just have half of the other dish left. Like nuts, they also remained. And I had only 11 grams of them, but this is clearly not enough, so I wrote 20 in the recipe.
  • Grate the orange zest on a fine grater (only the orange part).
  • Squeeze out orange juice. Squeeze citrus without sparing, the pieces of pulp that have fallen into it will not spoil anything, rather the opposite.
  • Break an egg into a measuring glass, pour in orange juice, bring to 200 ml with milk (no, it will not curl). In fact, I got a little more liquid, the bun was not enough, and poured in a little water during the kneading process. I don't know exactly how many, I think about 1-2 tbsp. l. Keep an eye on the kolobok or bring it not to 200 ml, but to 215 ml, but in any case it is better to follow, you know, it depends on flour.
  • Melt or chop butter or margarine as usual.
  • Grind the peanuts with a blender (literally a couple of vzhuhs, so that large pieces remain, and not straight into the dust), or without removing from the bag, knock on it with a hammer (I did this), or grind it in another way known to you.
  • Add all ingredients to your bread maker as instructed.
  • Peanuts and zest can be added on a beep, or immediately.
  • Install the main program.
  • Wait.
  • Enjoy)

The dish is designed for

Note

Why "Winter's Tale"? For the orange and nuts. I wanted to call it New Year's at first, but tangerines would be more suitable there. These are the associations. And what a scent! As long as I bake bread, everyone has long been accustomed to it, but then they ran to the kitchen, circling the bread machine in anticipation of a miracle. And he is so soft, cozy, crunchy - just for a cold winter evening with hot seagulls and honey ... Mmm ... And the color of his crumb resembles snowflakes in the warm light of lanterns. Winter it, and that's it. And fabulously delicious.

ps. In the photo, it turned out to be some kind of pale, in fact, the bread has a light orange tint and a rather bright crust.

Olga, you can add a pinch of turmeric for greater elegance, it will not give taste, but it will decorate.

Olga, thanks for the recipe. Interestingly, I haven't baked with peanuts yet, I also want a fairy tale! I will try!

eye, thanks for the advice, I'll try it somehow. but here I did not set a goal to make it bright, it just got such a nice shade, but the photo ate the color. I meant that it was in the photo that he turned out paler than in real life
