Cooking method

  • The manufacturer recommends boiling it for 45 minutes without pre-soaking, but, usually, this time is not enough. If you have a different variety of lentils, then be guided by its quality, sometimes lentils cook very quickly.
  • Thoroughly rinse one multi-glass of lentils and soak them in warm water for 30-40 minutes. At this time, we wash and clean the vegetables: three carrots on a fine grater, cut the onion into cubes. Fry vegetables in olive oil on the "Fry" program for about 5 minutes, until golden brown, then add lentils and 2 multi-glasses of water, set the "Cooking / soup" program for 1 hour. After an hour, add salt, all the spices and sun-dried tomatoes, add hot boiled water if necessary and leave to cook for another 20 minutes.
  • If we plan to add garlic, then finely chop it and add to the lentils at the end of the cooking time, mix and let it brew for another 10 minutes. If we cook without garlic, then serve immediately.
