Peking cod

Ingredients

cod (fillet) 500 g
onion 1 PC
garlic 3 tooth
vodka 0.5 tbsp. l
soy sauce 1-2 tbsp. l
ground red pepper taste
salt taste
flour 1-2 tbsp. l
vegetable oil for frying
vinegar (6-9%) 1 tsp
water 1 1 / 2-2 st

Cooking method

  • Peking codCut the cod fillet into pieces.
  • Peking codPut the pieces of fish in a bowl and add water and vinegar to get rid of the sea smell and make the fish juicier.
  • Peking codPeel and grate the onion and garlic, or roll in a meat grinder.
  • Peking codAdd soy sauce, vodka, pepper and salt to the onions and garlic.
  • Peking codStir the mixture well.
  • Peking codRemove the fish from the water and pat dry on a paper towel.
  • Peking codThoroughly coat the pieces of fish with the mixture on all sides.
  • Peking codPlace the fish in any suitable container with a lid and marinate in a cool place for 30-60 minutes.
  • Peking codDip the fish in flour, shake off the excess.
  • Peking codFry the fish in well-heated oil until firm, golden brown.

And then I have a problem with fish - no one really likes it, and if they eat, then only fried, and mostly cod. No baked, stewed, etc. it's not gonna go. And fried only with marinades can be varied. So I'm looking all the time
