Cooking method

  • This cake is my husband's favorite. The recipe is family, this cake was baked by my husband's grandmother (she is now 92), which in turn was taught by her mother. They bake a cake in a frying pan, but I baked in a frying pan, in the oven, and now in a chapatnice. It is more convenient and faster in the chapatnitsa, only the diameter of the cake is smaller.
  • Knead the dough without much effort. From this amount, 20 balls of 50 grams each came out for the chapatnitsa. I made 2 mini cakes of 10 tortillas each. You shouldn't do less, but more is just right. Grease each cake with sour cream and sugar, the cakes themselves do not need to be cut, the bw were the same size (this is what my husband's grandmother did, and now I am). The cake is not sugary, juicy (sour cream should not be spared). I made sour cream myself from 800 ml of milk of 3.2% fat, 200 ml of 20% cream and 100 grams of 30% sour cream.
  • In the chapatnitsa, each fumble and flatten slowly, gently, so that the dough does not break.
  • Soak the cake for at least 30 minutes, and if eaters give it, then at least an hour. Bad cake, ends quickly =)
