Ingredients

Achar-polba groats 2 glasses
Water 4 glasses
Melted or sunflower oil 2 tbsp. l
Chicken or legs 1200 g
Onion 3-4 heads

Cooking method

  • I did so. I sorted out the groats and washed them under water until the water was transparent.
  • I put in a saucepan with a thick bottom, added water, 1 tbsp. l melted butter,
  • and salt. Cooked over low heat until the liquid boils away.
  • After that, I put a tea towel under the lid and simmer for another 15 minutes.
  • Chicken fried in a pan with 1 tbsp. l of melted butter.
  • The fat remaining after roasting the chicken was added to the finished pilaf and
  • mixed.
  • Separately, I fried the onion cut into half rings.
  • When serving, put pilaf in a plate, fried onions and slices on top
  • hen.
  • There is another option. Fry the onion and mushrooms and serve with the pilaf.
  • For kids, you can boil it in milk and add fruit.
