Onion pie with sour cream filling on wheat-rye dough

Ingredients

Butter (margarine) 50 gr.
Odorless vegetable oil 30 gr.
Flour 1 grade 1/2 cup
Rye flour for baking 1/2 cup
Thick sour cream 2 tbsp. l.
Salt 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
For filling:
Onions or a mixture of onions with arrows (onions or garlic) 500 gr.
Chicken egg 2 pcs.
Thick sour cream 200 gr.
Salt

Cooking method

  • Cooking the dough.
  • Melt butter and mix with vegetable oil. Add sour cream. Mix flour with baking powder and salt. Combine everything and quickly knead the dough by hand. The dough is quite dense and very pleasant to work with.
  • We put the dough in a bag and send it to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Chop the onion and simmer in vegetable oil until soft.
  • I made the filling and dough in the evening. I chopped the onion, added 2-3 tbsp. l. rast. butter and put it in the Multi-cooker-pressure cooker on the Stew program for 20 minutes. The pressure cooker did not open until morning.
  • Onion. I have baked this cake more than once. With different fillings, including sweet ones. I like this dough.
  • I used both onions and a mixture of onions and green onions. Onion and onion arrows. Onion, green and garlic arrows.
  • Everything is equally tasty.
  • Put the dough in a silicone mold with sides 26-28 cm in diameter. Smooth it out with your fingers.
  • Mix the egg with a sour cream fork, salt and pepper to taste. Add the stewed onions. We mix.
  • Put the filling on the dough.
  • I baked in the GFB-1500 PIZZA-GRILL Multi-Oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 25 minutes until cooked. We take it out of the oven, but cool it in the form.

recipe from the magazine "I love to cook" No. 39 for about 2010 from Claudia Khromova from Rostov-on-Don. Retained only a magazine clipping. On my own I added a baking powder to the dough, since the type of cake was "otlivaya". Well, I began to replace part of the dough with rye baking flour.

I baked it, at first it seemed that the dough did not correspond to the word "dense", I added a couple of handfuls of flour, baked in the oven, the dough did not roll out, I just spread it out with my fingers, like plasticine. Baked in the oven, it jumped out of the mold perfectly, the taste did not fail. I added store-bought 20% sour cream to the filling, and thick homemade dough. Today I will repeat, because it is fast, tasty, satisfying.
