Gordon Ramsay adds 1 tbsp. l. tahini paste. We don't have such exoticism
Tahini pasta recipe
1 cup sesame seeds
one fourth cup of olive oil.
Put the seeds on a sheet and put them in the oven for about 10 = 12 minutes, at a temperature of 175 Celsius. until they become brittle. Then cool and send to a blender, gradually adding olive oil until you have a smooth paste.

gala10, I love chickpeas, but an expensive infection. An interesting recipe! How to buy chickpeas, cook. In the summer at the dacha I made dinner in the style of Israeli fast food: a pita with falafel (chickpea balls).I made tahini paste myself, the recipe is about the same as that of Valerka, but I fried sesame seeds in a pan. They devoured everything. BUT ... chickpeas are such a hearty thing that after one eaten pita with falafel, vegetables and tahin pasta, the kebab is not useful to anyone! In general, no one else could cram anything from food into themselves.
Valerka
Orshanochka, you're lucky. And I just don't like chickpeas. I make hummus entirely from black beans. Although both are really, well, very satisfying stuff.
gala10
Valerka, Orshanochka, thanks for the advice. I will definitely use it. In general, I did something like this, like Orshanochka, just did not know the exact proportions. Now I'll do it right.
Masha Ivanova
Orshanochka, Tanya! Try with regular peas. I like it with peas much more than with chickpeas. Israeli hummus tasted the sea, my pea won.
I also roast sesame seeds in a frying pan until lightly browning, so it's easier not to overcook it than in the oven, since everything is done before your eyes. Stir in a skillet all the time.
Orshanochka
Masha Ivanovawhy chickpeas outweighed me, because it doesn't make my stomach swell at all, but peas ... Although you can try.
Masha Ivanova
Orshanochka, Tanya! I agree that this is your serious argument against peas. Can you really try some more beans?
Orshanochka
Masha Ivanova, Is it done with beans in the same way as with chickpeas?
Masha Ivanova
Orshanochka, Tanya, I don’t know, it was Valerka who suggested the option with black beans, post 20. I think it’s the same. I don't know about soaking beans. For other dishes, many are soaked. I never soak beans at all. I have it and so well boiled. If necessary, you can boil it a little longer, until the desired softness.

i buy canned black beans. I don't know if my hummus recipe can be posted here. Everyone loves my recipe. Or I'll send it in PM if you want, and then see for yourself.

Is it done with beans in the same way as with chickpeas?
I suspect yes. And what is the fundamental difference there? Grind the chickpeas, grind the beans, add tahini to and fro. And all the other spices. I tried with chickpeas - well, it's not mine, I don't like it. And with beans, hummus does not stay with me.
Masha Ivanova
Valerka, can I have a recipe in PM? Each recipe is good in its own way. I have been doing it with beets for a long time, I like it very much, it is a little different from the author's recipe, not fundamentally. With beans, I also want to know a proven recipe.

Can I have a recipe in PM?
And why in a personal? If the recipe differs from the others that are on the forum, then it is necessary to issue a separate one to the heap. I would love to try different varieties of hummus.
Masha Ivanova
gala10, Check mark! I just didn't want to discuss strangers in your recipe. And whether a person will draw up a recipe even and did not guess to ask.

Nope, I won't. I still have a bunch of recipes, tested and untested, which are not here, but to do and draw up .. For me it's easier for someone to personalize someone else ..
gala10
Valerkathen write the recipe here. In a personal - unfair. The people want to know!
