Mareshal fish

Ingredients

Fish (original sturgeon) I have different (halibut and pollock) fillet 1 kg
Breadcrumbs
Chicken egg 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil

Cooking method

  • Cut the fish fillet into portions, put in a saucepan, pour boiling water, cover with a lid, leave to cool completely.
  • Mareshal fish
  • Then we drain the water.
  • Grind the raw egg with salt.
  • We lay out the pieces of fish on a board, sprinkle each piece with lemon juice, grease with a pounded egg and salt on both sides, then roll in wheat breadcrumbs, grease the baking sheet well with vegetable oil, put portioned pieces of fish on it, sprinkle very well with vegetable oil on top,
  • Mareshal fish
  • put to bake in the oven at T 250 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  • Recommended to be served with horseradish sauce or lemon butter and capers.
  • But we quickly ate everything with the usual boiled potatoes and pickles.
  • The original recipe is from an old cookbook, and it included marechal sturgeon. But I didn't buy sturgeon today, only halibut and pollock fillets.

Note

Marechal - (from the French marechal marshal) - the name given to various meat and fish dishes, in which only the best (juicy, tender) part of meat and fish is used, in my recipe - fish fillet.

Trishka
An interesting recipe, but can you use corn flour instead of crackers?
Valkyr
Ksyusha, anything is possible.
Trishka
Valkyr, Masha, thanks for the delicious recipe, the fish came out wonderful with a minimum of body movements on my part!
Doused in corn flour, and sprinkled with cheese on top!

Albina
Maria, a wonderful recipe: you don't have to stand and turn the fish, and it won't be so oily
Valkyr
Trishka, Ksyusha, I'm glad the recipe came in handy!
Albina, yes, without any special problems.
