Cucumbers almost "broken in Chinese" (Gemlux GL-SR-1003 spiralizer)

Ingredients

fresh cucumbers (long-fruited) 800 grams
garlic 1 - 2 cloves
chilli 5-6 cm
rice vinegar 2 tbsp. spoons
soy sauce (thick) 2 tbsp. spoons
sugar 1.5 tsp
salt 2 tbsp. spoons
Sesame oil 0.5 tbsp. spoons

Cooking method

  • Mix the rice vinegar and sugar in a wide salad bowl, set aside until the sugar dissolves (I mixed with a fork).
  • Pass the cucumbers through a spiralizer (grated 9 mm (2 cucumbers) and 5 mm (2 more cucumbers)) and put in a colander, salt, mix gently and leave for 10-15 minutes to drain excess liquid.
  • Meanwhile, peel and chop the garlic in a convenient way (I have a Joseph Joseph "Rocker" garlic press) (one of the recipes suggested sprinkling the garlic with salt and crushing it on a board into a paste with the flat side of a wide knife).
  • Transfer to a bowl, where the sugar in the rice vinegar has already dissolved, and pour in the soy sauce.
  • Chop the pepper into small (2-3 mm) pieces, add it to the dressing (sugar, vinegar, garlic, soy sauce), as well as sesame oil, mix well.
  • Put the prepared cucumbers (squeezing if possible) into the marinade dressing and mix.
  • Cover the bowl with cling film / plate and put in the refrigerator to marinate for 20 - 30 minutes (minimum) (or two to three hours (or you can - for a day (in some recipes on the Internet they offer so much)).

The dish is designed for

2 - 3 servings

Time for preparing:

35 minutes (15 + 20 (30))

Note

It is better to use thick soy sauce (which, after you shake it, slowly goes down the neck of the bottle).

I read that they also add sesame seeds, but I don't like them, so I don't add ...

Recommended to eat with a fork and spoon ....
