  • Spring has come, vitamin deficiency begins, a breakdown ... Just for this time, since the end of winter, I am making such a drink for my family. Everything is very simple, tasty and healthy. Separately, each component needs very little, but at the same time, in this proportion, we get a drink rich in taste and color. The sweetness is controlled by the amount of dates, figs and raisins.

  • To boil water.
  • Pour boiling water over the teapot.
  • Put all the ingredients in the kettle.
  • Pour boiling water over the kettle.
  • Add citrus fruits to an already filled teapot in order to preserve the citrus aroma as much as possible.
  • Cover the kettle with a folded towel or "doll on the kettle"
  • Drinking when it cools down to room temperature, it turns out very rich, you can dilute it with water, you can add honey to the cooled broth, but it will be too sweet for me, but as you like it.
  • When the drink ends, I make the "second derivative", it turns out very tasty fruit water, beautiful color and fruity taste is present.

Dried fruits, except dates, raisins and own figs. Hawthorn and rose hips, she dried her own. I have a Crimean hibiscus, my friend brought it as a "present" from a summer vacation. Citrus fruits are always washed with very warm water with laundry soap and a brush to wash them off the peel as much as possible, then what they are treated with.
The recipe is good in that you can vary the composition as desired and the availability of the starting products. For example, instead of dried fruits, I often brew dried cake left over after squeezing the juice.
A very simple, tasty and healthy drink. You can, of course, cook like a compote, you can bring it to a boil and turn it off, but I chose the most gentle way of processing, to maximize the preservation of vitamins.
Usually I cook the brew in the evening, by the morning it already cools down and is well infused.
My teapot is large - 1.5 liters, but when something is poured into it, less water naturally flows in - 1.2-1.3 liters. I always boil, just in case, for a full kettle of 1.5 liters of water. Anyone who does not have such a kettle can be made in a thick-walled saucepan.
I think many people do something similar, but I did not find such a recipe on our HP, so I decided to remind you of this method of making a tasty and healthy drink, without using additional devices.

I brew such drinks in a thermos according to the same principle as the traditional brewing of dried rose hips.
In the evening I put everything in a thermos, fill it with boiling water, in the morning it's ready.
