First of all, I decided to squeeze the juice from stalk celery and apples.
I washed and cut the celery (I tried it from a whole stem - it gets stuck in the auger)

I removed the core from the apples and cut them into slices (although there is a wide loading mouth, the auger is not intended for large hard pieces)

At first, juice flows out a little from the hole for the cake and a very wet cake comes out

Then the cake is compacted and comes out quite dry

From this amount of products, about 350 ml of juice was obtained

Juice with a little pulp and a little froth. The mesh and auger required cleaning.

Lena, I plan to buy such a juicer. Please tell me how is she to you? I need it more for juice from carrots, apples and beets. Does a lot of pulp end up in the juice?
Elena_Kamch
Olga, to be honest, I'm not happy. Very quickly clogged with cake, you need to clean, and this is to disassemble the entire structure.
We liked making grape juice. From apples, the pulp gets even in pieces.

Thank you, Len, great! You helped me a lot!

Olya, this is my first auger juicer. Maybe they are all like that
I wanted a screw for several years. And now I use it and understand, I like the centrifuge more

There is a centrifuge, a lot of pulp! And in auger apples you need to take hard, not summer varieties, and then on the stove until boiling and remove the cap that is formed (you can make mashed potatoes or jam from it), and drain the juice into a jar.True, this is theory, but in practice I have not tried it))))) I need for apples and carrots)

After the auger juice is not cleared, it remains cloudy. What you wrote is after the centrifuge. I have both. Each is good for a specific purpose. Auger is primarily juices from currants, citrus fruits, raspberries, grapes, tomatoes, etc. Here it is out of competition. The product yield is very large and no problem.
Apples only fresh to drink immediately, since the juice is with pulp. In winter, I do it on a centrifuge, but every day (now it's season) on an auger, and you can not wash it right away, but simply spill it with water and leave it until evening.
