Cigar-borek

Ingredients

Lavash thin Armenian (large) 1.5 pcs.
Cottage cheese 450g.
Eggs 3 pcs.
Dill bundle
Salt taste
Garlic option
Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • This product is made from yufka (or filo) dough. We don't have this on sale, so we cook from thin lavash.
  • Salt cottage cheese to taste, add finely chopped dill and egg yolks to it (1 yolk per 150 g of cottage cheese). If you prefer, you can add a chopped garlic clove. Stir everything well.
  • Cut the lavash into strips 10-12 cm wide. Put 1 tbsp on the edge of a piece of lavash. a spoonful of filling.
  • Grease the other edge with whipped egg white and twist the tube.
  • With dough, the yufka (or filo) is still pressed against the borek's tip, which makes it look like a cigar.
  • But the lavash is rude, this operation is difficult to do with it, so we just leave the tube.
  • Fry the workpieces in heated vegetable oil from all sides.
  • To remove excess fat, fold the finished cigars on paper towels.

That's so beautiful!
Natasha, Thank you!
Even in my thoughts it was not that such a thing could be cooked, even though we regularly feast on pita bread.
Natusechka, thanks! We will definitely try.

Rita, good health !!! I'm glad that I liked the recipe.
I was especially pleased in it that you can do without the delicate filo dough (or yufka) ... Well, where can I take it ?! ... And here people have offered some kind of beauty ... to them, in turn, thanks from me.

ANGELINA BLACKmore, Natasha, I like to wrap something in lavash, and I adore spicy-salted cottage cheese. We must hit the road for lavash.
