Cottage cheese and semolina casserole with rhubarb (slow cooker)

Ingredients

Rhubarb 200 g
Vanilla sugar 1/2 tbsp. l.
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Egg 1 PC.
Sour cream 50 g
Curd 20% 150 g
Semolina 35 g
Vanilla pudding 1 tsp
Sugar 50 g
Lemon zest on the tip of a knife

Cooking method

  • Cut the rhubarb to a thickness of 5 mm. Add vanilla sugar and 1 tbsp. l sugar. Mix. Leave for a while so that the rhubarb gives juice.
  • Divide the egg into white and yolk. Mix the yolk with sour cream, cottage cheese, vanilla pudding, semolina, sugar and lemon zest. Beat the protein until firm peaks. Mix everything carefully, being careful not to precipitate the protein.
  • Grease a ceramic bowl with butter. Place the rhubarb on the bottom. Put the curd-semolina mass on top.
  • Cook on HIGH1.5 - 2 hours until golden brown on the edge and firm in the middle. Serve the warm casserole with vanilla sauce, ice cream or cream.

The dish is designed for

2 servings

Time for preparing:

1.5-2 hours

Cooking program:

Slow cooker

Note

I have no rhubarb. Made with apples. The apples did not mix with the curd mass, but laid it on top of the apples. At the bottom are delicious soft apples that can be placed on top of the casserole before serving. You can take cottage cheese of any fat content. You can also use semolina of durum wheat.

Galina, Wonderful casserole, while I was reading I imagined how great it would be with apples, and then I see you did it too ... you must definitely try it, thanks for the recipe

Svetlana777, I am writing the exact recipe from the book. It is clear that not all houses can be found, and in the store too. The rhubarb was long gone. This recipe, in my opinion, is very suitable for disposing of leftover cottage cheese, sour cream and a sour apple stub, for example ..

Rhubarb has long since departed
but I just don't like him, apparently I didn't eat anything tasty with him

Moreover, apples are your best friends. It seems to me that any more or less solid fruits can be added here. Apples, in any case, keep their shape perfectly, do not turn into porridge, are soaked in juice, soft and very tasty.
