I have a stupid question, girls, who uses what mops, we have practically no "open" floors in our city apartment, almost everything is under "carpets". Only a kitchen and a bathroom with a toilet - tiles and laminate. And somehow, in manual mode, I just wiped it with a rag until the village, and then I realized that I could not always be able to do this, in general, I cannot bend normally now, I need a mop, not a steam one, a small one that would fit between the legs of the tables, etc. Maybe now something new is invented to make life easier?

Luda, I read about mops, but I didn't choose anything for myself. I personally go through with a vacuum cleaner first, then a mop with a wet microfibre cloth. You don't have to bend too much.

Luda, I have a kitchen and a corridor - old linoleum, I also always washed it with my hands, and with the appearance of a cat about 7 years ago I bought such a mop with a PVA spin.
Who uses what mops?

I wet it in the sink under running water, squeezed it out with the mechanism, wiped the floor and washed it again and squeezed it out. You can squeeze harder and then the floor is wiped almost dry. It is very convenient for me, she collects cat hair very well and especially down, does not leave streaks. It is always close at hand, again because of the cat, as soon as they came from the street, they immediately wiped the floor with it. It is small in height and width, so it is very convenient to use it in the kitchen even with one hand (moving the chairs with the other hand, etc.) And it just crawls between the furniture legs. Again, when I spray it on the kitchen floor, I took it and wiped it all with a light movement

It cost 200 rubles in OKEE, the sponge itself is replaceable - unscrewed and thrown out, bought in a fixed price and galamart for 50 rubles.

Agree with Mrs. Addams... I've also had this type of mop for a million years. I've tried everyones. But I stopped at this one, for one single reason: it collects EVERYTHING, down to the smallest scribble and GIVES EVERYTHING when rinsing, it is enough to substitute it under the stream of water, not a single hair, not a single grain of sand remains on it !!! All the rest, even the most super-duper rags, do not give away garbage without a fight, a lot of hairs and grains of sand remain firmly attached to the fibers of the rag. And they do not leave traces at all. The only addition to those "stone" (in a dry state) mops is that the handle should be a solid tube, not a telescopic one, because retractable ones break very quickly.

By the way, I also prefer kitchen cloths from this material (they are solid when dry).

But for the kitchen it did not work out with such rags.

Mandraik Ludmila, Luda, I also have a sponge mop, for many years. Conveniently. Don't bend over. to remove / straighten a rag, the sponge is washed out perfectly cleanly, since it does not absorb anything like rags. Maneuverable - it crawls under the tables / chairs perfectly, which is what my spouse uses)) The stools do not move, but they go around the legs like I will not notice))
Sponges are rarely replaced with new ones. They are sold in our Fixprice and on the market (in my opinion, the guy from the market buys these sponges in Fix and speculates))) With the plastic handle, the mop broke quickly, I bought it a hundred years ago with a metal handle, retractable. by the way. telescopic, still works, I don't need anything else. Therefore, I look with great doubt at all sorts of local mop novelties ... The only thing I would still buy is a steam mop, but I am very confused by the need to fiddle with rags.

OlgaGera, Song, it’s strange why you didn’t have kitchen love with them. They also ideally wipe all surfaces, leaving the table clean and dry. And rag rags, including microflora, still leave a wet footprint.

I did not have the same love with such a mop, it was, I'm not comfortable. I found what I like, but it is sold only in a set and costs like the floor of a Boeing wing, like this

Girls, I read for a very long time about mops with a wired spin, I only had an ordinary sponge, and also a large microfiber rag with a brush. And finally, I found an option with which I want to wash the floor 5 times a day)) the usual cheap mop itself is flat with a microfiber nozzle, which is put on with elastic bands on a plastic mop and in a set of 5 pieces of microfiber nozzles themselves. We change them in the process as they become dirty and at the end we load them in bulk into the washing machine! Is a song! The mop itself is very comfortable and maneuverable, the handles are clean, the cloths are ideally washed in 30 minutes).

I also did not make friends with such mops. It is inconvenient for me to wash. And most importantly, how and where to store it. I have a place for an ordinary mop behind the shower stall in the bathroom, but this spongy one could only be put there with a sponge down, and as a result, it got moldy and didn't dry out.
I use a regular wooden mop and a hundred-ruble rag.

For these purposes I bought myself a Universal mop with a triangular nozzle.
The handle is telescopic, very comfortable.
The platform is an isosceles triangle with abrasive strips on both sides and a rubber blade on one larger side to collect moisture. Abrasive strips help wipe away any dirt on the floor, black shoe marks. The moisture-collecting blade is made of high-strength natural rubber.
It is convenient to clean not only the floor, but also the walls made of tiles, if necessary - the bathroom, windows, etc. Washes everything in the corners.
The nozzle - for dry and wet cleaning, in dry form - collects fluff and dust.

The price, of course, is not 200 rubles (about 1500 rubles). I have this for 3 years, very happy.

I bought a cleaning kit here just last week, I'm happy.
Washes well, collects everything, squeezes out almost dry and wipes, respectively, too.
I have a large area to wash and take on wheels so as not to carry a bucket, my hands hurt.
The set is even cheaper for mom and the volume of the bucket is less green for 1312 re.

Lyudmila, I have a leifheif mop with a whirligig mechanism, I bought it in Vilnius for 57 euros at about a discount, I don't know how much it costs in the vastness of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation. She's cool, she squeezes almost to a dry cloth, the children in my line stand in line to twist. Very manoeuvrable, allows you to wash the floor everywhere. The only thing, when buying, the seller gave me a try to wash the floor with two mechanisms (a whirligig and a rectangular mop) so that I could see the difference and choose what I needed. So the nuance is that the rectangular mechanism, due to the fact that the rag is solid, collects all the garbage from the floor perfectly, but due to the shape it is less maneuverable. The whirligig mechanism also collects dirt well, but due to the fact that the rag consists of ropes, some things may not be removed, that is, this mop is good after vacuuming. But even if you use it without a vacuum cleaner, it cleans up perfectly, it just may not be 100 percent to collect dirt right away, you will need to go over it with a mop again.
But how cool it is when you don't have to bend over and wash a rag
And in general, how good it is when the store has such an approach and you are allowed to choose exactly what you need.
The bucket is really a little bulky ... I wish it were smaller.

There is a device for cleaning the mop of debris and a wonderful wring system. For three times it became completely dry! It is good to wash linoleum, something with static and all the dust particles "stick" to the cloth. And the mop handle is disassembled into 4 parts, compactly put into a bucket. Everything is ergonomically designed, just right for our tiny bathtubs. )) I have it behind the shower. Before that, there was a spinning bucket, but it was bulky, blocking the cabinet door. And now everything opens freely and there is still a free space.

The same for half a year. Only rags bought not "finger", and terry.
At the beginning of cleaning, I moisten all the rags and open the washer hatch. If necessary, I change the dirty nozzle for a fresh wet one, and throw the dirty one into the washing machine. After cleaning, I start the machine (dust rags - in the same place, into the drum).

We have plank floors, that is, not even, "fingers" wash them perfectly the first time. I generally love finger rubbing. And we also bought spare mops and "finger" and velor mops + special rags-attachments for the brush are sold in Fix Price, they are also convenient.
And for the rest, like you: all the necessary clean rags were prepared, and then, all of them were washed in the washing machine. Better than a car, no one will rinse and squeeze.

For emergency dirty cases, it is convenient to use "Paclan floor wet wipes 10 pcs (4607036875495)"

I have Martha's steam mop. Now, if you consider the previous mop-sponge as a broom, then a steam mop is a scrubbing of the floor, which was previously cleaned of crumbs and debris. I use it after the main cleaning, I walk on a clean floor, for example, in the hallway or in the area of the working area in the kitchen. It kills microbes and invisible dirt with a high temperature of steam, I have such a perception of the result)

Girls, advise a "post-ceremony" mop to rinse out easily. To clean the tiles from construction dust and smeared grout. Or is it not real and you need to focus on chemistry specially designed to do?, But I took the chemistry, washes it away, but rinsing out the rag is at least half an hour after one washed meter stained with plaster, paint, etc. In general, help!

Damn, I volunteered to wash one room and almost lost my mind, washed the tiles, went to smoke, everything was dry and white, in plaster or something else. A mountain of used rags and these stains are in place. I'm afraid to think about windows in general. I thought there were some rags. I took a special chemistry, after the repair, well it helps, only I have an allergy, so far, in principle, I tolerate it normally, but it is not known how long I will last. Tanuhka, Tatyana, if finances permit, then of course call people. There are many ads like "cleaning after repair".
Based on my experience (just finished the renovation of the kitchen-hallway), I will say that you need rags that absorb water well and wring out well. Before starting work, I prepared them in advance. Old bedding and tea towels are the best. The hardware store has good large cleaning rags.
Change the water in the bucket often. I washed it cool. Dissolve the salt in the water! The usual cookery. Each water change is a proven way to get rid of whitish stains.
