Loose biscuits

Ingredients

Flour / s 400-500 gr.
Lard or butter at room temperature 250 gr.
Refined vegetable oil 80 gr.
Starch 50 gr.
Powdered sugar 70 gr.
Vanilla sugar 10 gr.

Cooking method

  • 1. Beat the butter with a mixer with powdered sugar and vegetable oil.
  • 2. Add starch, beat again.
  • 3. Add two cups of flour, continue to beat with a mixer. If the mixer is hard and will not pull, stir with a spoon.
  • 4. Sprinkle flour on the table and place the dough on it. By adding flour in small portions, bring the dough to an elastic state.
  • 5. Divide the dough into 2-3 pieces. Roll each part into a sausage, and cut it into pieces with a knife, from half the norm I got 15 pieces.
  • Loose biscuits
  • Bake on a baking sheet covered with baking paper at 150 degrees for 30-50 minutes. to the desired degree of rosy.
  • Loose biscuits
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and while they are still hot, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
  • Loose biscuits
  • Cookies cook very quickly and are eaten even faster.

Note

Dough sausages, before being cut into pieces, can be rolled over any seeds, we like sesame seeds, then the finished cookies will be with seeds on the sides.

Tatyana, better thicker, because the biscuits are very crumbly, thin ones can fall apart.

The cookies are plump and they need to dry out, I'm afraid they'll burn quickly at 220, it's better to keep them in the oven for a longer time, although all the plates are different.

Natasha, pitches for health, if you do not like powdered sugar, you can not use it, mine sometimes does not reach the powder

is lamb fat melted suitable?
Lily, I did it with pork fat, ghee and just butter, I can't imagine how mutton fat is in terms of taste, you can try half the norm, it's not so expensive, and you will educate us whether lamb fat is suitable for this cookie. Although, if there is no foreign taste or smell, why not use it.
