Milk rice porridge and especially rolled oats do not need to be thrown unattended, I read on the internet how a user put oatmeal on MAX for the night, and after 4 hours some of the porridge ran away, some dried up and a hard crust formed. Discarded rice is able to stick to the bottom and also forms a film.
It is better to mix the finished porridge immediately and arrange on plates so that a film does not have time to form on top.
