Fish cakes with pepper sauce

Ingredients

fish fillet (salmon + pike perch + pike) 700 g
eggs (protein only) 2 pcs
greens (to your taste)
soy sauce 2 tbsp. l.
ground white pepper
for sauce
sweet red pepper (large) 2 pcs.
garlic 2-3 cloves
ground coriander 1 tsp
soy sauce 2 tbsp. l.
honey 1.5 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Very tasty cutlets and excellent sauce (which is also suitable for both chicken and meat), I recommend cooking.
  • First, prepare the red pepper sauce.
  • Fish cakes with pepper sauceBake the peppers whole in the oven until tender.
  • Fish cakes with pepper saucePlace in a bowl, cover tightly, leave for a while.
  • Fish cakes with pepper sauceThey can now be easily cleaned. We remove the skin from the peppers, remove the seeds.
  • Fish cakes with pepper saucePlace the pulp of the peppers in a blender, add the garlic and chop. No need to grind to puree, let the pieces remain.
  • Fish cakes with pepper sauceFish cakes with pepper sauce Transfer to a bowl, add honey, coriander, soy sauce and mix well. The sauce is ready.
  • Cooking cutlets.
  • To prepare these cutlets, there must be three types of fish, one must be red. I have salmon, pike perch and pike.
  • Grind the fish fillet in a blender to coarsely minced meat (as in the author of the recipe). Since I have one of the pike fish (it is difficult to choose all the small bones), I passed the minced meat through a meat grinder. Add only proteins, finely chopped herbs, soy sauce and pepper to the minced meat. You can take any greens you like (I have green basil, green onions and cilantro). Alternatively, you can add a small amount of boiled rice to the minced meat, it will also be good. In a preheated frying pan, fry the cutlets on both sides until slightly golden brown, close the lid and bring to readiness over low heat.
  • Serve with sauce.
  • Fish cakes with pepper sauce

Galina, gorgeous cutlets, if you bake them in the oven, you get a dietary option, and I pass the pike through a meat grinder twice so that certainly not a single bone remains.

and if you remove the rather fatty red fish, you will definitely get a dietary option

I also minced the minced meat twice, solely because of the pike. I made such cutlets with cod, it was enough to roughly grind in a blender.

The sauce is good. I do it often. Garlic and salt can be customized to suit your taste.
Girls, Tatiana, Angela, I am pleased that you looked at the fish!

But fatty fish contains very useful omega-3 fatty acids.

Galinka, the cutlets are wonderful. I don't always have expensive fish, so I got the hang of sculpting cutlets from pink salmon. Next time I'll try to turn this option with pink salmon - it's very emotional here you did it.

Natasha, Thank you!

By the way, I used to make only pollock cutlets (I love it very much) And then they brought me two pink salmon, one of which didn't go into the freezer. So I made cutlets out of it - I was surprised how cool they are. Plus, she has large bones, which are very easy to remove, unlike pollock. Since then, I quit buying pollock, and I take this fish.
