Kitfort KT-641. Kettle for weak wiring

Electric kettle Kitfort KT-641 is designed for boiling water at home, in offices and in summer cottages. The power of the kettle allows it to be used in homes with poor wiring.

The body of the kettle is made of glass, while the lid and base are made of a combination of plastic and metal. The measuring scale is printed on the transparent part of the case. The large neck of the kettle makes it easy to get inside when cleaning and descaling. The handle of the kettle is plastic, does not heat up and fits comfortably in the hand.

The lid open button is located on the top of the lid, and the power button is on the handle. When you turn on the kettle, a blue backlight comes on, which is an indicator of operation and at the same time artistically illuminates boiling water.

The heating element (TEN) of this kettle model is hidden and is located in the bottom part. From above, it is closed with a special metal plate made of stainless steel, due to which direct contact of the heating element with water is excluded. This design prevents the formation of limescale, facilitates maintenance and significantly reduces noise when heating water.

The stand with center contact allows the kettle to be positioned on it in any position, providing 360 ° rotation. There is a cord storage area at the bottom, in which you can wind up excess power cord so that it does not get in the way on the table.

The kettle turns off automatically when it boils, has protection against overheating and turning on without water.

Troubleshooting

Water drops on the stand.

Probably, the water level exceeded the maximum, as a result, when boiling, part of the water splashed out.
The kettle does not turn off when it boils.

If the lid is not closed tightly, the auto-shutoff mechanism when boiling may not work.

Precautions

Please read the instruction manual carefully. Pay special attention to safety precautions.Always keep the instructions handy.

1. The kettle is protected against overheating and turning on without water. Nevertheless, one should not allow situations of its triggering in order to avoid premature failure of the kettle.

2. Do not turn on the kettle without water, or if the water level is below the minimum mark.

3. Before removing the kettle from the stand, turn it off with the button.

4. To avoid overheating of the heating element, do not empty all the water from a freshly boiled kettle. Otherwise, the protection against overheating may work, since immediately after boiling, the heating element is heated and it takes several seconds for it to give the accumulated heat to the water. To avoid this, leave a little water on the bottom, or while pouring, periodically return the kettle to an upright position so that the bottom of the kettle is washed with water.

5. If the overheating protection has tripped, turn off the kettle and wait a few minutes for it to cool down.

6. After you have drained all the hot water from the kettle, do not pour cold water into it immediately to avoid thermal shock. Wait 1-2 minutes for the kettle to cool before pouring in water.

7. The body of the kettle may become hot during operation. Do not touch hot surfaces, be careful!

8. The device is intended for domestic use and can be used in apartments, country houses, hotel rooms, offices and other similar places for non-industrial and non-commercial use.

9. Use the device only for its intended purpose and in accordance with the directions set forth in this manual. Misuse of the device will be considered a violation of the terms of proper use.

10. Before connecting the device to an electrical outlet, make sure that the power ratings indicated on the device match those of the power source being used.

11. To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.

12. Do not carry the kettle by the power cord. Do not pull on the power cord when disconnecting the plug from the outlet.

13. Do not use this apparatus if the power cord, plug, or other parts of the kettle are damaged. To avoid electric shock, do not disassemble the device yourself - contact a qualified technician to repair it. Remember, improper assembly of the device increases the risk of electric shock during operation.

14. Monitor the kettle when children and pets are around.

^. Place the kettle only on a stable, horizontal surface, at least 10 cm from the wall and the edge of the table. Place the kettle so that children cannot touch its hot surfaces.

16. Do not try to bypass the power-on lock of the device.

17. Do not drop the kettle or subject it to shock.

18. Keep the device out of the reach of children.

19. Use only manufacturer-supplied accessories. Use of other optional accessories may damage the device or cause injury.

a priori, too large for weak wiring.

I was surprised too. If now my light dims during the operation of the kettle, then with the power for normal wiring it will go out altogether along with the plugs and wiring.
