Kitfort KT Slow Cooker Lentil Milk Stew with Ginger and Cardamom 2010

Ingredients

Mix of red and yellow lentils for soups and side dishes 1 glass
Water 1 glass
Milk 3.2% 1.5 cups
Baked milk 0.5 cups
Butter 1 tbsp. l,
Salt taste
Dried cardamom, ground 1/3 tsp
Dried ginger, ground, pinch taste

Cooking method

  • We wash the lentils (red, or a mixture of red and yellow) with running water, let the water drain. Put the slow cooker in the bowl, add 1 glass of water and 1.5 glasses of milk, cover and cook for 3 hours at MAX until completely soft. 5 minutes before turning off the appliance, salt to taste, add baked milk, butter, cardamom and ginger. Stir, taste and turn off.
  • The addition of baked milk at the last moment prevents the stew from turning into a homogeneous porridge.
