belena74, Elena! Just for fun. Did you happen to see somewhere in the same store? Display case or not? According to the Internet and the M video reference phone, there are no such sieves in Moscow. As before. Can someone just passed it?
zvezda
Elena, it is necessary !!!!!

About the sieve! Girls, do not believe it !!!!! I bought a sieve !!!!!! Guess how much? for 300 rubles! Well, not rubles, but for 30 crowns, just in terms of. My car is still on the way, but I went to our analogue Avito and what do I see? And I see that a sieve is for sale. Obviously a long time ago. The hostess herself has no idea what it is at all, so she laid it out for a symbolic price, so as not to go to the trash can. In a box, but the box is open. And another man put new attachments in an unopened box - a meat grinder (1500) and a citrus juicer (500 rubles). He was just sure that this was for old machines and also appointed a symbolic fee. Here I am getting nozzles !!!!
Masha Ivanova
Irlarsen, Ira, congratulations! Very good! And what sieve? In our 992nd or 930th?
NataliaL
Irlarsen, wonderful! You are very lucky!)
Irlarsen
ElenaThere are long incomprehensible numbers written on the box, the sieve is entirely metal

Irochka, super! I bought wonderful attachments! The main one is the sieve, but the meat grinder is also very good, and the citrus press is not bad! Are any attachments included with the machine? Or naked? In any case, you will get everyone you need! Rather, the car would have arrived - this is a real holiday in use! I just can't imagine my kitchen without Kesha)), especially often (daily and several times) - a food processor, the second in use is a cube cutter, followed by a dough roller and the main bowl. The rest are less common, but all are needed)).

Irlarsen, Ira! Let's hope it's a 930 sieve. It's just that there are also some on old cars. The discs on them are the same, the metal rim is usually also suitable, only the blade may be different. In this case, you have to watch how it comes. If anything, then buy a paddle pin separately. This is what I am, just in case I am writing to you. I just had to face it.

Girls, I don't know, maybe this is not news at all, but for me in any case :-)

at least on the German market (I just don’t know about others), a ravioli nozzle should appear soon.
One of the leading online stores for Kenwood is already showing it on its pages:
KAX93.A0ME - Ravioli-Maker

(ramershoven.com/kenwood-ravioli-maker)

in one Facebook group it was said that the nozzle will appear on sale in a few (it is not clear how many) weeks.

Hello, I just registered on this forum.
Today she became the owner of Kenwood Shef Titanium KVC7300. As a gift I received three nozzles and there was a problem with the Kax720 auger juicer. I can't install it, no way. According to the description, the model fits my car.

With a cube cutter, this problem did not arise.

I will attach a photo of the mounts to the message.
Juicer on the left, cube cutter on the right. As you can see, the juicer has some kind of pin that prevents you from putting the nozzle in place. Who has such a nozzle, tell me, please, do you have a pin and how do you deal with it?

The juicer is installed only fully assembled, then the pin is retracted inside and does not interfere.

I collected the juicer, the pin has not gone anywhere. It is a little mobile, you can drown it by 1mm with your finger, but not completely. And I don't understand how a fully assembled juicer affects it?

Maybe you're not talking about that pin?
I'm talking about a small smooth one next to a hexagon)

The nozzle is installed so that this pin falls into the hole of one of the two screws next to the hex hole on the body, then the "blade" fits neatly into the groove for it. In this case, with a slight pressure, the pin retracts exactly to the desired depth, so that the nozzle can be turned. The nozzle is heavy, if you install it "by touch" and then turn it, you can quickly break the socket.
Everything is installed normally if there are no defects.
Tanya Marshal
Elena_P, look in the instructions for picture J, it shows how to insert and how to rotate correctly.

If the juicer is not completely assembled, it does not fit into the socket, this pin is just the protection, this is done for safety reasons, as they told me. center of kenwood.

watch the video, maybe it will become clearer

Hello, I need some advice. Preparing adjika, you need to grind a lot of h. coriander and utskho suneli. a lot is it about 6kg you can in the mill? Or just a multi-shredder ??
Masha Ivanova
S_V, Sveta! I won't say anything about Kenwood yet. I wanted to ask. Utskho-suneli in large quantities where did they get it and how much?
S_V
Masha Ivanova, in Sochi. just returned, there they brought me directly to the hotel DAGOMYS. it was a present so I don’t know the price.

Elena, but do not want to do it in the food processor ??

Girls, somewhere in the subject came across information that the food processor bowl peeled off (or something like that) after washing in the PMM. Please tell me, do you wash at PMM? Does everyone get covered? Or am I confusing something?)

I wash my cup in the PMM. Nothing peels off. I put it on the top shelf ...

Olga, I have been washing the old model for 10 years and the new one for 3 years .. everything is fine!

Olga, show my 11 year old flair ?? Or can you believe it in a word? I cannot vouch for who stores where and how and what does next ..
Here about the knife, as an example is said, but very interesting in all areas and so, for general development.
.

What is rust?

First of all, let's figure out what rust is. Rust is called iron oxide, denoted by the chemical formula Fe2O3. It is formed when the iron from your steel blade combines with oxygen from the atmosphere. More specifically, rust is a hydrated iron (III) oxide, also known as iron oxide (Fe2O3), it occurs when iron reacts with oxygen and water - this reaction is called oxidation.

Now that we know that this reddish surface is iron oxide, let's figure out under what conditions the knife rusts. This requires three things: oxygen, iron and water. Oxygen comes from the atmosphere and is present in the air around us. Iron is the main material in steel blades. The water does not have to be liquid. There will be enough humid air to cause rust.

Why do some steel rust more?

Most types of blade steels can be classified as either stainless or carbon steel.
Carbon steel is a steel with a higher carbon content. Steels can contain impurities of various metals. However, it is the percentage of carbon contained in the blade that plays a major role in the oxidation process. Typically, carbon steel blades contain 0.5 to 1.5% carbon. This makes the knife very strong and durable. But due to the fact that carbon also reacts with atmospheric oxygen, blades made of such steel are much more susceptible to corrosion.

Stainless steel blades contain various additives, such as chromium, which is typically 12.5% to 13.5%. This creates an oxide layer on the blade surface that prevents further oxidation of the steel. As a result, corrosion slows down, which is why steel is called "stainless". Stainless steel knives are a good choice for aggressive environments like the sea. However, stainless steel knives can also rust, especially in harsh conditions.

There are other blade materials such as titanium or ceramic. Since they do not contain iron, they will not rust and the knife will not corrode. Another factor to consider is the coating of the blade. Some knives have special coatings such as titanium nitride or aluminum oxide that make them more resistant to corrosion.

Is rust dangerous?

Rust itself is not dangerous, and you will not die if you eat something cut with a rusty knife. However, especially severe corrosion can reduce the quality of the blade and make it more brittle.

Rust removal methods

1. CHEMICAL SOLVENTS

There are many types of chemicals that can be used to remove rust from your knife. WD-40 is popular (however, it is toxic, so it is better not to cut the food with this knife later).

Step 1: Clean the knife from any stains or dirt.

Step 2: Spray the blade with solvent.

Step 3: Use fine sandpaper to remove any rust spots on the blade.

Step 4: Repeat as needed, then wipe, rinse and dry the knife.

2. SODA

Step 1: Soak the corroded area with water and sprinkle with baking soda. The baking soda should stick to the wet area. Tap gently with a knife so that the excess falls off.

Step 2: Use a damp cleaning pad to scrub the area covered with baking soda.

Step 3: After a few minutes of cleaning, the rust should be gone. Repeat as needed, then rinse the knife with water and dry with a cloth.

3. VINEGAR

Step 1: Pour vinegar into a wide container.

Step 2: Dip the knife (or just the blade) into the vinegar. Hold for 5 minutes. It is better not to leave it too long, it can damage the blade.

Step 3: Wipe the blade with a cloth. Then rinse and dry the knife.

4. PREDICTION PAPER

Fine grit sandpaper (3000 grit) usually works well with small rust spots.Just take a small piece of fine sandpaper and gently rub the corroded stain with it until it disappears. Make sure to use fine sandpaper. Otherwise, the finish of the blade or the blade itself can be damaged, in particular, it can be scratched or blunt.

5. POTATO

Potatoes contain oxalic acid, which can dissolve rust. You can leave the knife between two potato halves for several hours. And then wipe off the rust with a cloth.

6. BOW

Onions contain sulfenic acids, which can help dissolve iron oxide. You need to act in the same way as in the case of potatoes.

Conclusion

To ensure that your favorite knife will never undergo corrosion, it must be properly looked after.

The most basic tips for knife care:

First, wash after use. Whether you have been cutting wood or gutting fish, you will always have some dirt on your blade. Remove residue with water and the soft side of a sponge, then dry thoroughly with a cloth. Don't skip this step, or your knife will rust. Second, store it properly. Indoors, the knife is best stored in some kind of dry box or cabinet. If you are outdoors, keep it in your pocket, sheath, or special cases. Try to keep moisture out. Use a special knife oil to prevent contact between the blade and the atmosphere.

Hopefully this article will help you remove rust from your knife. Remember, the best way to protect your knife from rust is to prevent rust. Make sure you keep your knife in top condition at all times so that it performs as best as possible

Ludmila, I replied, in general, this is the norm, and there is no need to panic ..

I read the thread, my memory sometimes works. Why are you fuming? Where it is good, there is good. And where are the objective shoals, then why close your eyes and gasp that everything is super?
I can see from my discs that they are coated, obviously electroplated. 2.5 years is fine, but there is no PMM. Considering the remarks about peeling, I wipe mine gently. But it's a pity that the discs are not found in spare parts.
Masha Ivanova
NatalyaB, so they not only peel off, but also wear off over time. Girls have written about this many times! That is why everyone began to urgently buy for the second and third sieve wipes, when the sieves were removed from production. And sieves as spare parts disappeared even earlier in all foreign services, at the same time when 930 also disappeared.
Recently, I notice that the new Kenwood users who have recently come to the topic have not read the topic at all. You need to get acquainted with the topic at least a little. Then there will be no questions like now.
Moreover, now there is practically no one to answer many questions. Some smart users are no longer on the forum at all, and some, also very smart, have almost stopped going into the topic. The topic has become uninteresting.
NatalyaB
Masha Ivanova, I think yes. Over time, they will peel off and wear off. The holes are arranged in such a way that friction on the rough side of the disc, which is (it seems) made of a softer material, with blades, at least more massive, will lead to abrasion. Hopefully not soon. But you need to be gentle with them.

I bought a sieve 992 per layer on Avito. bowl and on one of the discs there are yellow lines from the movement of the planetary mixer, that is, the silvery coating has peeled off. Is it really so difficult for the manufacturer to make them from stainless steel. become?
I think you can buy these disks from something else to replace them or make them from something.

No, there is a small bowl. Somehow they sent me a small bowl by accident, so they don't even fit in the grooves with the big ones. And you will also have a short pin.

Thank you so much! It's a pity ... the pin could have been replaced / increased or something else to come up with, but it's more difficult with grooves ((((
