Ilona, what temperature are you taking? When you put the second portion of water into the teapot, do you reheat the water again?

If it's not a secret, where does such a set of tea utensils come from? I liked the very silhouette and sublime simplicity

And then (when the tea is drunk) mix the cake and berries with honey and it turns out soooo delicious. Today I made tea according to this recipe. It turned out great. The color is amber and kind of ... thick because of the puree. I have sea buckthorn frozen of course.
Lerele
Corsica, but we just added sea buckthorn to black tea or berries with syrup, or pureed, it is very tasty and healthy.
Thanks for the reminder and recipe; I'll make it with mint and honey, it will be even tastier. Only for berries you need to go to the store.

Sveta, in general, black tea is recommended to be brewed at a water temperature of 95 aboutWith or according to the recommendations on the tea packaging. Berry puree is brewed at the same water temperature for a rich aroma and taste, vitamin C is slightly lost, but not as actively as when boiling for a certain time.Yes, and the remaining portion of berries, at a lower overall brewing temperature, will supplement the tea with vitamins. When adding the second portion of water, if its temperature is significantly reduced, it is still better to warm it up to the recommended one.

Irina, thanks for the tip! I am glad that the tea suits your taste. If desired, if you want to get a more transparent tea, put the berries whole and additionally pour through a tea strainer into cups. Alternatively, make a tea with sea buckthorn jam (syrup) and use a few berries to serve.

yes, and I sometimes cook this way for myself, I just add fresh sea buckthorn berries to black tea (200 ml 1-2 tsp.), after brewing, gently knead the berries with a spoon and stir, if the berries are frozen, then pour them a little hot water, leave for a while, knead the berries with a spoon, add tea and hot water, leave for brewing. Sugar to taste.

I brewed it right in the cup ...
And I added a tangerine, not a simple one, but alcohol-based, left over from the mandarinello.
A drop of honey completed the bouquet of taste, just the New Year's drink turned out.
Thanks for the recipe.
