Soy sauce as desired 1-2 tsp
Peanuts or cashews for sprinkling handful

Cooking method

  • I propose a recipe for fresh and all-season salad. It is especially pleasing in the cold season - on New Year's and March 8th.
  • Wash and dry the root salad or spinach leaves. You can use any green salad, salad mixes and even young Swiss chard leaves.
  • Peel the not too ripe mango and cut into long sharp 3 cm long sticks.
  • Cut the red bell pepper into thin long slices. I grated the Giant.
  • Cut the chili pepper into thin half rings.
  • Boil shrimps in a shell with salt and spices or fry for a couple of minutes, peel, then remove the dark intestinal vein. You can use ready-made peeled pickled shrimp - the taste will be no worse, the main thing is not to skimp with their quantity.
  • Wash the cilantro, dry and chop coarsely.
  • Peel the cucumber fragmentarily and cut into round pieces first, and then cut the round pieces into quarters.
  • Peel the avocado and cut into large cubes.
  • This was the base of the salad
  • Then add the shallots, which should be cut into thinner feathers. You can do without it.
  • Add roasted and peeled peanuts or cashews as desired, they will greatly decorate the salad.
  • Pine nuts are fine too.
  • For lovers of spicy taste, add chili pepper cut into thinnest half rings.
  • Refueling
  • The dressing has a sweet and sour taste.
  • We mix all the ingredients for the dressing better. Be sure to stir the honey to the end, it has the peculiarity of staying at the bottom.
  • Wash the ginger and rub it on a fine grater, then squeeze the juice. From two centimeters of grated ginger root, you get about 1-1.5 tsp. juice.
  • Now let's take additives and enhance the oriental taste in the salad. We use everything together or separately according to your taste.
  • Crushed garlic. But somehow I don't really like to add it to mango ...
  • A teaspoon of fish sauce.
  • Two teaspoons of soy sauce.
  • Serve the salad right away without seasoning. Let everyone, for themselves, at their own plate, season to taste. Stir the dressing every time before use.

Note

And please don't use unrefined olive oil in this recipe. It is better to choose light sesame, grape or any other vegetable oil without a specific aroma. Any nutty one will also do.
The fact is that Extra Virgin olive oil is always slightly bitter, and lime juice with its own bitterness will further enhance it. In addition, unrefined olive oil will overpower the taste of other fruit ingredients.
I also do not recommend adding dill to this salad.Although I love him, but he is not an oriental friend!
You can also punch the nuts with a blender along with the dressing, it will turn out even more interesting. The dressing then "does not slip" from the lettuce leaves and envelops all the ingredients better.
In general, when preparing dressings, try them at all stages of preparation and bring them to the ideal taste for you.
For a photo of sorties, I photographed for myself, but still decided to share a delicious salad with everyone.
I do not recommend using canned pineapples and mango in this salad. Better save them for delicious desserts.
