Ingredients

TEFTELI

* Mayonnaise 1 tbsp. l. with a small hill
* Salt (I have Adyghe) taste
* Water 1 l.
* Rice flour 4 tsp with a slide
* Water for flour dilution 200 ml.

  • Meatballs:
  • Any mince is used, I have chicken breasts (by the way, for such minced meat, the recipe is the most successful, since the breasts themselves are dryish, and in the company with cottage cheese, an excellent union is obtained))
  • Mix the minced meat, cottage cheese, egg, salt and pepper.
  • Pour some ready-made sauce into a baking dish. Pry the teftel mass with a spoon, form blanks in the palm of your hand and put in the sauce, tightly. Pour over the rest of the sauce.
  • Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 40-45 minutes.
  • Sauce:
  • I do this - in a jar with a screw cap, pour the juice, add mayonnaise, close the lid and stir the mixture vigorously. I pour it into a saucepan in which I will prepare the sauce.
  • Next, I add some of the water to the jar, close it again and shake it again (in order to remove the remaining ingredients from the walls), pour the contents into the same saucepan.
  • I pour in all the water that I need for the sauce and put it on a medium light.
  • While it is heating, I prepare a thickener - I have it based on rice flour. You can also use wheat flour, but
  • it tends to clump, therefore, before introducing the flour mash, from it, the mixture must be filtered through a strainer. And in the case of rice, such manipulation is not necessary. And I like the taste with rice more.
  • Let's return to the sauce - when the brew in a saucepan starts to boil, pour in the thickener and mix thoroughly. Boil for a minute or two and the sauce is ready.
  • Add any spices to meatballs or sauce according to your taste.
  • For those who are not afraid for their figure, you can add butter 1-2 hours to the ready-made sauce, for taste
  • Serve ready meatballs with sauce to your favorite side dish. Today I have a stewed young white cabbage with onions, carrots and bell peppers.
