About twenty years ago, they presented a bosch tka 4200 coffee maker, brewed coffee a couple of times and threw it on the mezzanine. Now I found it, tried to make coffee, the pressure is gaining, the drink gives out, but it's scary to drink it. White-gray sand is poured from the unit together with water. I just drove it out on the water, tried the descaler, there is still sand. What could it be? Is it possible to reanimate the unit? Or it is better not to suffer and throw it away immediately.

How to reanimate a Bosch tka 4200 coffee maker?

It is quite possible that some plastic parts began to crumble. The time is right for their destruction.

The plastic looks like new. The rubber gaskets are intact. More like the aluminum insides are corroding. Is it possible?

At first I also thought about aluminum. But then I remembered Soviet saucepans, which still have nothing and began to doubt ...
Yes, and Boshik, I suppose, dear, not Chinese?
I would like to ask experts ... I would like to believe that in your area there will be ...

Not Chinese yet, Swiss.
She unscrewed the cover, looked inside with a flashlight. The walls of the boiler are all in white, rather loose, bloom. This all this byaka is pouring in ... Can I remove it with something?

Alas, no, it looks like the aluminum alloy boiler is subject to corrosion and it is destroyed. Only a replacement in the service will help.

The device is ancient, although almost new. At first I thought it was scale. And then this ... Is it really from time to time? I have even more ancient aluminum pans, but this is not the case with them.
It is unlikely that it will be possible to repair it, most likely it will not be possible to find spare parts. It's a pity to throw out an actually new unit, but it is not possible to use this either. Honestly, I did not expect such a setup from bosch. I have their harvester since then, it has been working properly and nothing has fallen off.

The fact of the matter is that the pans are aluminum, not an alloy, aluminum is very resistant to corrosion, its alloys are especially cheap and are susceptible to destruction from acids, alkalis and contact with other metals. For coffee machines, the nodes are quite unified, contact the service only not authorized and the one that repairs coffee machines of different companies, it often happens that there is nothing on the new device, and the entire service is filled up with the old one
