Blender programs

Smoothie

The program is suitable for grinding hard ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, herbs and seeds and mixing them into a uniform consistency with other soft and liquid ingredients. In this mode, the blender runs at one speed for 120 seconds and then turns off automatically.

Note. The difference between a blender and a chopper is described in the Tips and Limitations section.

Ice

The program is suitable for preparing ice cream, frozen fruit drinks and ice picking. In this mode, the blender works in pulses for 120 seconds and then turns off automatically. When the blender is in this mode, the screen displays the operating time in seconds.

Note. Hold the bowl lid with your hand while chopping.

Pulse Clean

To grind very hard ingredients such as ice, you can use the pulse mode. The button turns on the blender at maximum speed. Releasing the button turns off the motor. The mode is intended for short-term mixing or chopping of products at maximum speed. When the blender is in this mode, the screen displays the operating time in seconds.

Note. Hold the bowl lid with your hand while chopping.

Safety system

The blender has protection against switching on without a bowl. The principle of operation is as follows - there are 2 contacts in the motor block, a reed switch in the bowl handle, when closing the lid, you need to lower the latch in which the magnet is located, it will close the reed switch.

The blender responds to the opening of the lid latch. If the blender is turned on and the bowl is not installed, beeps will be heard from the motor unit every 4 seconds. In order for the blender to stop beeping, you need to replace the bowl, close the latch on the lid, or turn off the blender.

Tips and Limitations

The cycle of programs "Smoothie" and "Ice" lasts 120 seconds. Allow the appliance to cool down for 2 minutes between cycles. After 5 cycles of continuous operation, the blender should cool to room temperature.

Attention! Add some liquid to the bowl to make mixing and chopping easier! For details, see the chapter "Features of mixing in a blender and how it differs from a chopper".

Always turn off the blender before removing the bowl. After turning off the blender, always wait until the blades have come to a complete stop before removing the bowl or the contents.

You can grind crackers in a blender.

Hold the bowl with your hand while breaking ice. Put no more than 6-10 pieces of ice in the bowl, the blender will crack them into crumbs. Do not use large chunks of ice, as this can damage the blender.

While mixing, you can add additional ingredients or spices without removing the blender lid. To do this, remove the cap from the bowl lid by turning it counterclockwise and pull the cap up. After adding additional ingredients, insert the cap into the guides and turn the cap clockwise. Continue mixing.

Do not turn on the appliance with an empty bowl.

Do not put ingredients in the bowl that could damage the blender: bones, large chunks of hard foods, foods that are too hard, etc.

Note. After active use of the blender, the plastic bowl may become dull at the bottom. This is normal and not a marriage.

Don't overfill the bowl. There should be free space in the bowl. Do not add ingredients above the maximum graduation level on the graduated scale. If the ingredients generate a lot of foam during mixing, reduce the amount of ingredients by about half.

Do not put liquid over 60 ° C in the bowl.

For mixing soft foods (e.g. watermelon, green vegetables, etc.), use a reduced speed. For hard foods (such as carrots, green apples) use high speeds.

When grinding solid ingredients together with liquid, the ingredient pieces can accumulate in the center of the bowl without falling on the knives. In this case, open the bowl and use a spoon to spread the food evenly.

The contents of the bowl may heat up slightly during mixing. This is due to the viscosity of the mixed products and the frictional force between the blender knives and the mixed products. For the preparation of milkshakes, smoothies and other dishes served chilled, it is recommended to use pre-chilled food and add a little crushed ice towards the end of preparation. Also, in order to avoid excessive heating, it is recommended to monitor the mixing and grinding process and interrupt mixing immediately after reaching the required consistency.

While the blender is in operation, it is recommended to be near and monitor the blender operation.

If the blender knives do not rotate or the blender begins to hum, increase the speed. If increasing the speed does not work, turn off the blender, remove the bowl and remove the food from it. Then load less food and repeat.

High speed is above average speed. When chopping sticky or hard foods, do not turn on the blender at high speed immediately. Start chopping food at a low speed, then gradually increase it to a high speed.

Features of mixing in a blender and how it differs from a chopper

The chopper chops (chops) food into pieces. A blender can grind food into very small pieces, actually puree. This is due to the difference in the design of these devices.

The chopper has several knives, they are located along the entire height of the bowl. Since the chopper knife rotates more slowly, it is not mashed potatoes, but chopped pieces. The grinding degree is determined by the grinding time.

The blender has only one knife located at the bottom of the bowl. To grind a full bowl of food, there must be vertical circulation of the contents. Then the ingredients, while mixing, will gradually be fed to the knife and evenly chopped. If there is no circulation in the bowl, then the food will be chopped only near the knife. To mix the contents evenly, be sure to add liquid to the bowl.

In addition, to ensure even grinding, it is recommended:
  • cut food into smaller pieces;
  • put a small amount of ingredients in the bowl.

Maintenance, care and storage

Be sure to unplug the blender before servicing.

Wash the blender bowl immediately after use. Do not allow food debris inside the bowl or on the knife block to dry.

To remove food residues from the knives and from the bowl, pour some water and detergent into it, place the bowl on the blender, cover it with a lid and turn on the pulse mode several times. Wait for the knives to stop, remove the bowl and empty the contents. Then rinse the bowl with water.

In case of contamination, remove the rubberized damping pad from the engine block and wash it with a detergent under running warm water. After washing, wipe the damping pad dry and place it on the motor unit.

The blender bowl, the snap-on bowl lid must not be washed in the dishwasher.

Do not use aggressive detergents and abrasive materials for washing. Wipe the knives dry after washing.

Be careful when washing the knives, do not get hurt, the blades are sharp.

Wipe the motor unit with a damp and then dry cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids. If water gets into the motor unit, dry it thoroughly before turning it on.

Store your blender in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.
