Ingredients

butter 175 g
sugar 175 g
egg SB 3 pcs.
salt chips.
vanilla taste
premium wheat flour 175 g
almond flour (crushed almonds) 25 g
baking powder 5 g
food coloring
marzipan 300 BC
apricot jam

Cooking method

  • BattenbergPrepare the form. Cover with parchment and divide in half. I have a metal divider from a sliding mold. Foil can be used. Lubricate the separator.
    BattenbergAll foods should be at room temperature. Beat soft butter with sugar and salt until fluffy. Introduce eggs one at a time.

    BattenbergMix flour with baking powder and add to the butter mass. Mix. The dough is like thick sour cream.
    BattenbergDivide the dough in half. Add almond flour to one half.
    BattenbergIn the other - dye. Stir both doughs.

    BattenbergBake in an oven preheated to 175 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Willingness to check with a wooden skewer. Remove from oven and mold. Allow to cool.

    BattenbergGrease each strip with apricot jam on all sides. Collect in a checkerboard pattern.
