Ingredients

Cooking method

  • First, we knead the dough: mix the eggs, no need to beat, add slaked soda to a sweep of water and vinegar, add flour in portions and replace the not very thick dough.
  • Cutting the dough: you can cut the dough as you wish, you can roll it out into a layer thicker than into noodles and cut it like noodles. You can roll the dough into flagella and finely chop (as I did in the video). Cut all the dough, if it sticks together, sprinkle with flour a little.
  • Frying the dough: Pour oil for frying into a bowl with a thick bottom (I pour 1 -1.5 cm, in the process, as needed, you can add) As soon as the oil is hot, fry the dough in small portions until light golden brown. Pull out with a slotted spoon and put in a large saucepan, in which it will be convenient to mix later.
  • Preparation of the cream: In a saucepan with a thick bottom, melt the margarine (it must be firm), then add the toffee candies and stirring constantly, melt everything until smooth.
  • Forming the cake: First you need to prepare a container of cold water. As soon as the toffee melts, you need to pour them over the fried balls of dough and mix everything very quickly, you need to be careful, because the mixture is very hot, but as it cools, it sets, so it will be difficult to mix, but you need to try to quickly mix and put on a dish and dipping your hands in cold water to form a cake in the form of an anthill. sprinkle with poppy seeds, grated chocolate or chocolate icing on top. Allow to cool well. I usually do it at night, and in the morning you can taste and enjoy.Ant Hill Cake

This is my favorite cake among the family, I always make it for New Years and birthdays. The site has recipes for Anthills, but I did not find one like mine, I have been preparing this recipe for 30 years.
