Ingredients

For the test:
Kefir 250 g
Oil 250 g
Flour 480 g
Baking powder 10 g
For crumb:
Flour 120 g
Sugar 150 g
Oil 100 g

Cooking method

  • For the test:

    Grate the butter. Pour in kefir.
    Puffs on kefir
    Pour in sifted flour and baking powder.

    Quickly knead the dough. Wrap in plastic and put it in the cold for 1 hour.

    For crumb:

    Puffs on kefir
    Grate the oil. Add flour and sugar.

    Rub into crumbs with your hands. Put in the refrigerator.
    Puffs on kefir
    Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Divide into 6 parts. Roll one piece of dough into a circle with a diameter of 25-26 cm.

    Divide the crumb into 5 parts. Sprinkle one part over the rolled dough.

    Roll out another cake separately, cover the first one with it, sprinkle with crumbs and lightly press down. And so on with all the pieces of dough and crumbs. The top cake is not crumbled. Cut into 12 triangles.
    Puffs on kefir
    Transfer to a baking sheet. Brush with egg or cream if desired. Bake in a preheated oven to 180 gr for 35-40 minutes. Cool the finished puffs and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy your tea!

Svetlana, I liked the recipe very much, there is always kefir or yogurt in the house. But .. 350 g of butter for the recipe .. too much in my personal opinion for non-holiday baking. And with certain chronic diseases, it simply cannot be used in such quantities, unfortunately.
