Salmon in cream

Ingredients

salmon steaks or any red fish 6 pcs.
any loaf 6 slices
peanut 150-200 g
cream 10-20% 500-700 ml
salt, black pepper taste

Cooking method

Salmon in cream
Bread toast, 1 cm thick, fry in a dry frying pan until golden brown. You can toast the bread in the oven or toaster.
Salmon in cream
Put the toasts in a mold, I have a glass 22x29 cm.
Salmon in cream
Put washed and dried steaks on the toast (you don't need to remove the skin). If the steaks are large, you can cut them in half.

Put peanuts on top of the steaks and in between them. It is better to remove the skins from the peanuts; for this, lightly dry the peanuts in a dry frying pan or in the microwave. It is not necessary to deeply fry the peanuts, since later they will be fried in the oven when baking the dish. If you are using salted peanuts, do not salt the fish too much.
Salmon in cream
Gently pour the cream over the fish with nuts, while the toast should be almost completely covered with cream.
Salmon in cream
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20-30 minutes, depending on your stove, until the nuts are browned.

Bon Appetit!

Tatyana1103, well, since there are no more steaks, then I'll steal a rose from the pepper! Here she shook on the spot!
An interesting combination, Tanya! And if I replace, for example, almonds? I can't get peanuts ...
Tatyana1103
Svetlana, help yourself To the cream before baking, you can add nutmeg in powder, I don't add it to us and it's so delicious

Then it's better for hazelnuts

Doesn't the bread sour from the liquid?

The bread becomes like pudding, but it does not sour for this, and it must be dried before baking, until it is crispy toast. Fresh soft bread will not work, so it will turn sour.

Tatyana1103, no, I theoretically understood right away how to make a rose, but how did you manage to make such unearthly beauty! Here are the man's hands of gold! That's it, today I'll take all the peppers at home!

The eyes are afraid, but the hands are doing I liked this flower so much that I decided: "I will translate all the peppers, but I will do it all the same." It turned out the first time, the work was a pleasure, now I will do it for holiday dishes all

What a beauty! There is no salmon, but there is trout (also fatty). Need to try. Only we do not like peanuts very much. And we don't buy. If everything is the same to change it - which ones? There are walnuts, cedar ones ... Will they fit?

Thank you. Tomorrow I'll try to do it with them.

Elena, because.you do not need to peel pine nuts, then you do not need to fry them, but immediately spread them on the fish. I like the loaf with bran. If the steaks are frozen, then I would remove the skin from the fish in advance, from the frozen fish it is removed remarkably. Delicious fish

Rose is beauty!
Small additions to the recipe (as I would have done)
1. The cream (or part) should be replaced with coconut milk. And add some Curry Paste for spice.
2. Lightly chop / chop the nuts with a knife.
3. Before serving (just a little) sprinkle with mint leaves, cut into thin strips.
P.S. We prefer fillets. Especially if it is cooked directly on croutons and / or with sauce.

About the additions:
1. Coconut milk is certainly delicious, but not everywhere you can buy it.
2. I would not chop the nuts, but left them whole, because after baking, they become soft and very tasty.
3. Who would like to look for fresh mint leaves in winter, please.
Regarding fillets - there are not many bones in red fish to use fillets. Is that for small children.
I would love to see a fish in your performance.
And for the flower, special thanks.

Tanya, thanks!
A wonderful and uncomplicated recipe. I am just crawling in search of something to cook faster and tastier. And so!
Tanya, thanks for the recipe. Six pieces of fish are unlikely to buy, but a couple of C grade is required.

Ritochka, you can have at least one, only a small mold, otherwise you will need a lot of cream

I cooked the fish. The photo was not inserted in any way these days.

I didn't have steaks, but trout fillets. And nuts - pine nuts. The bread is ordinary. I dried it in a toaster until it was golden brown. The nuts became soft. And they also transferred their taste to the cream. It turned out tasty. Thanks for the recipe.
