Ingredients

Tomato paste 1 tbsp. l

Greens, garlic, pepper, bay leaf taste

Cooking method

Soak beans (better red - just more beautiful) soak in the evening, drain the water in the morning and boil in new cold water almost until tender. You can, of course, use ready-made canned beans, then add them at the end of cooking (as the author of the recipe nicely said, beans "will pretend to be pieces of meat").
Cut the onion into quarters and fry in oil (of course, I fried in fat), sprinkle with sugar. The onion will become transparent - add cucumbers peeled and cut into oblong slices into the pan (I had canned zucchini ...), after five minutes - tomato paste. Simmer for another five minutes, put on the boiled beans, add olives or olives, bay leaves and lemon, thinly sliced ​​into quarters, along with the brine. Season with salt and pepper. Boil - turn off, add herbs and garlic to the pan. Serve with sour cream.

I'm not a vegetarian, and my fast is ... well, let's say it's different. But for some days we don't eat meat. Therefore, this "hodgepodge" is very appropriate ... I found it on the site "Vegetarian Recipes and Secrets". Not that I really wanted to know their secrets, I accidentally got there!
You can add a few drops of liquid smoke, if not scary; then it smells great!
