Shaker Delight

Ingredients

ghee butter (my usual) 100 g
premium wheat flour 250 g
powdered sugar 100 g
yolk 2 pcs.
cognac 20 g
saffron (I have turmeric) 1/2 tsp
salt chips.

Cooking method

Pour the saffron with brandy and let it brew. I mixed turmeric in cognac.

All foods should be at room temperature. Beat the yolks with powder and salt until fluffy.

Beat butter until fluffy.

Combine butter with yolks and beat all together until smooth.

Sift flour. Pour brandy with saffron (turmeric) into it and add the egg-oil mixture.

Knead the dough quickly. The dough is soft. Wrap the dough in foil and refrigerate for 10 minutes. I had an hour.

Roll small balls from the dough. Place them on a baking sheet.

Flatten to make thick cakes.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 7-10 minutes. Take out and refrigerate.
