Ingredients

Umach
premium wheat flour 100 g
water approx 1-2 tbsp. l.
Syrup
water 150 g
sugar 150 g
saffron (I have turmeric) 1/3 tsp
Halva
ghee butter (regular) 100 (150) g
umach whole
salt chips.

Cooking method

Add water drop by drop to the flour. Rub with your hands to make a crumb. Rub through a colander to make the mass more homogeneous.

Leave it overnight to dry the flour.
Syrup.

Mix water with sugar. Add turmeric. Boil. Boil the syrup for a couple of minutes to dissolve the sugar.

Put the oil in the pan. Let it melt.

Stir fry until the flour turns cinnamon. Salt.

Pour in hot syrup in portions. Remove from heat.

To be honest, I didn't understand the actions with flour and water at all. I do not think that if you fry the flour at once, it will make any difference. Maybe I'm wrong.
I have long wanted to try to cook this type of halva. All Azerbaijani video channels describe this dish as very tasty. I do not want to offend anyone, but I cannot say that this is a masterpiece. Maybe I couldn't cook it the way it should. Perhaps we are still used to other desserts. I can't say it's that bad. It seems nothing, but I will definitely not repeat it.
