Good day,

Please tell me a good slow cooker for milk porridge for a small family.

The forum already has a similar topic:
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...om_smf&topic=484887.0

But at the moment, all the multicooker that is advised (Panasonic 10, Redmond 01, etc.)
already sold out.

Is there a decent replacement in 2020?
Sedne
Irina_1, look at Redmond 03, it seems like it's the only small one on sale.

Here is a topic with discussions, they did not open a new one after the redber https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...om_smf&topic=221948.0
On the WB after the new year, they were 2.5 tons. Not to say that it’s just an ideal saucepan. But there are sooo many advantages. Like a pressure cooker - the pressure is certainly not 0.7. But he cooks bones for soup in half an hour, he boils the chicken directly. He cooks milk porridge, the useful volume is about 1.5 liters. Declared 2 liters. Cooked potatoes under pressure, copes in 10 minutes.
There are problems with baking - it sticks, the bowl seems to be like ceramics (I still didn't understand what kind of coating). But you can put baking paper if you really need to. I also made yogurt - not bad. The milk is boiling, it has not escaped anywhere. Ghee in 20 minutes, the lid is clean. Keeps the temperature for yogurt, does not overheat. But to cook, of course, in a bowl. You can't fit any cups.
Of the minuses - there are no normal instructions and recipes ... Even that a pressure cooker is not immediately clear. There is no double boiler, although it is declared. There is no program description. The weak point is the silver paint on top. Climbs.
In general, the pressure cooker is just great for its money!
It works for me every day, soups, milk porridge and without milk, side dishes

Irina_1, take a look at the excellent 3-liter multicooker-pressure cooker that has, among other things, the Milk Porridge mode, a high-quality bowl and a perfectly working Baking mode

I have Redmond 03. It has a mode
milk porridge. She cooks them badly. They are running.

The multicooker is so-so. I use it only for cereals and soups. And most of all I do not like in it that the temperature change is declared in the process, but it does not work !.
Checked soup / stew and rice / porridge and milk porridge. Specifically, I set (changed) the temperature of 79 degrees everywhere. In all three modes, water is boiling !!
Rituslya
I just can't get Polik with a 35% discount from the officials.

Maybe I'm not looking there?

A little more liquid and leave it hot - everything will melt. Initially, using the multi-cook function (if available in the appliance), you can set the required cooking parameters, including temperature, time and, if necessary, pressure level. In slow motion, the main "plus" and "minus" is a heavy thick-walled ceramic bowl. But no one forbids choosing a thick-walled ceramic pot for the bowl of your multicooker, multicooker with pressure, multicooker, pressure cooker or pressure cooker and cooking in it, if the functionality of your miracle saucepan allows you to set the cooking mode you need. In this case, it is important to remember and follow two mandatory rules: put a soft substrate under the pot (a cloth, napkin, silicone mat, etc.)and pour water between the walls of the bowl and the ceramic pot, up to half, three quarters, the height of the pot, so that in no case could it get into the pot, even with a violent boil.

The discount appears only in the basket, after the introduction and application of the promotional code. But, now, I did not succeed either, it was checked in the Opera and Chrome (wrote about this in the Polaris shop)

Most likely, the demand for it turned out to be greater than what is available in the warehouse, so the demand was limited, perhaps not in all regions and in some regions, the discount is still valid ...
And, of course, we are waiting for the next promotion.

I disagree, not impeccable (is there such a technique?), But a good slow cooker AND the change in temperature and time works, maybe it was necessary to return a defective copy?

No, she's not defective.
This is my second. There is a dex 60.
This is something!

She took the baby for small portions of cereals. Both dairy and regular. during its operation I realized such a thing that it is very "hot".
Because of the small bowl, the heat lasts for a very long time. And if you drop everything and switch to extinguishing, it still boils very much in it.

If I switch dex from frying, or from steam, to stewing, it reacts quickly and literally a little, and everything quietly starts bubbling. This is not the case here. Everything here is always very intense.

Rice / porridge mode
I cook rice, buckwheat on standard parameters. It works.

Milk porridge mode.
Banal rice on diluted milk, although 94 degrees are stated there, comes to a boil! The non-boiling lid saves the situation, it does not run outside, but it really boils.

Soup / stewing.
Dex stews, and this one fry without liquid.I threw anything into the dex without water and went to rest, but in this one, if she poured a little water on the bottom, it can evaporate at the beginning of the process and fry a little. It is necessary to follow.

The frying is great, but I don't need to adjust the temperature on it.

The pastries are super too. I tried baking muffins.
I have a dex for biscuits.

And she also keeps smells very well. After the cabbage, just kapets.

Something like this. If I could turn back time, I would not.

Yes, the temperature is only regulated on a multi-cooker. I plan to use it to select the mode of stewing and milk

Yes, the bowl is ceramic, it's also small, the cartoon thermos keeps the heat for a long time. If you decrease the temperature, it will not immediately decrease.

like on my electric stove, if the soup boils, then when decreasing, you need to move the pan from the comfort, so that it cools a little, otherwise the pan continues to boil.

I don’t think I’m married. You save 89 grams of a multi-cook - the water does not boil, that is, norms.

By the way, dex cooks porridge (rice, buckwheat) better. I can’t explain what exactly is wrong with them, they are somehow not so boiled down in a baby.

But all the same, I am very disappointed with her. It would be better to take a shortcut for 3 liters Polaris ...

IMHO, of course

I have a little Redmond. I took it only for milk porridge (well, or crumbly sometimes). I cook on a multi-cooker for 90g-95g. They never ran away. On the native program "milk porridge" - they run away. I don’t use it. I cook crumbly on the "rice / cereal" mode. Exactly the same story was on baby Phillips. The native milk porridge program brought the milk to a boil and hello. So I used the manual mode for several years. Then, for some reason, I set the temperature to 100g in manual mode (what kind of passed out I was - fig knows it) and that's it - I ditched the cartoon. The milk escaped and flooded all the electronics. After that, Redmond bought it. Well, if you are in the know - there is no problem, it cooks perfectly on a multi-cooker. I have already adjusted, I know how much time to bet, because at 90-95, of course, it languishes longer than usual. Corn grits generally need 3 hours to boil normally. As well as coarsely crushed oatmeal. I set the oatmeal to a lower temperature (90) and the time is a little, so as not to turn into a mess, and then they stood on the heating and cooked a little. In short, everything is fine. Although on gas in a ladle it tastes better, damn it, that's all)). It's not about Redmond, I generally taste better on gas in a ladle. But there is simply no time so much in the morning to cook this porridge is good if 15 minutes. And if 30-40 minutes like corn?
mamusi
My Redmond 02 cooks 0.5 mstk of Hercules on milk porridge well, if I put 1 mstk it runs away. The rest of the porridge does not run.
There are no problems - most often I cook porridge on Baby Food. The grandson is 2 years old. I cook porridge three times a day. All different. A recipe book with proportions - ideal - for a child (and I eat them myself) - I really like it.
I also have as many as two Baby Phillips (very in love with him))). Also, as Nata writes on Milk porridge, she spits asshole... I put the Omelet 90 * 1.20 h. And until the morning on the Heating Monastery Hercules 1: 4.

I will add... But most of all recently (for "from night to morning") I fell in love with cooking Milk Hercules in ceramic cups from Shteba. I put three glasses in Panasonic -10: myself without sugar, my grandson with milk and sugar, my husband in the water. Each according to his taste.)
Poured water into the bowl and go! Braising for 1 hour.
And until the morning they are heated. Wonderful creamy porridge.
Do not wash the bowl in the morning. And the cups in the PMM

Thanks for the tip. I'll try to cook porridge like that. Maybe I'll find a compromise.

But! In dex, porridge is no different from those on the stove! They boil well and the grains are not hard.
I like barley porridge. In Redmond, she is either a smudge, when you cook for a long time, or you feel grains on a tooth. I have not achieved an average result.
So I was naive and thought that I would get the same result, but no, this is not the case. That's why I got this opinion
Scarecrow
ptashka,

For me, not a single cartoon does it like on gas. And only personally my multicooker I have 7 pieces at the same time. Including napahyrenny Kuko, induction Panasonic and more. I've tried all of them. But it tastes different to me. This is my personal jump.)) For me, cartoon in relation to cereals is a compromise.)) I don't want to waste time on it in the morning. That's how we are all different.))
I have never cooked rice in Redmond, it is cooked exclusively by Panasonic. But buckwheat - constantly. I like it completely. That's what I really toiled with when choosing the cooking time - with corn porridge. That solid, then liquid, then thick ...

Girls, how the market for little cartoons has narrowed. And in general, the household appliances market. There is absolutely nothing to choose from.
Zhanik

I cook all cereals and side dishes and milk on the "porridge" mode, which is the default for cooking side dishes. In cuco 0821, in Oursen 5005. But the regimes "dairy" always spend the people. Especially in induction. I also laundered a couple of times. I don't risk it anymore. I bet on "porridge" almost at night. The cartoon itself goes to heating. Hot porridge in the morning. And so it has been for many years. And no dancing with the selection of milk. Anyone! I do it for half a glass and for a whole one. The result is always great. At the same time, the pots are rather big. that is, in fact, the volume does not matter. My husband doesn't eat porridge. Therefore, I and my two daughters have a glass for two days ... Or rather, for two. And me plus one serving with a slide. Half - three servings are practically complete. By the way, dishes, such as hedgehogs in sour cream filling, I also do on "porridge". Otherwise it runs ... And therefore. According to observations
from experience. Any rice cooker can perfectly cook porridge in milk.
Scarecrow
Zhanik,

No, Natasha. Panasonic is my native Japanese rice cooker. It is a rice cooker, not a cartoon. There, when cooking rice, water actively boils, so the milk runs away. I've tried it. Useless. Moreover, in different modes (there are different modes for different rice. Rice cookers with porridge mode are probably suitable - porridge, but not a fact.

Natasha, I do not have a rice cooker in the classical sense. But I wrote that it is in the "porridge" mode that milk gives 💯 the result. I just rushed around a lot in my time. And I even remember discussions in different topics on cartoons on which milk the norms are and which ones are running. Here, perhaps, she got excited. Not a rice cooker. Any cartoon is suitable, which is capable of cooking cereal side dishes. But with induction I have a problem in this regard.I don't even want to try again (but I also wanted to convey that in a 4-liter bowl, porridge for 1/2 MC of cereal is perfectly cooked. Why chase after a baby size, if you can find what you are looking for in a device with more capabilities.

Zhanik,

I can explain why I am small. Because it is only for porridge. Therefore, size is important. I don't cook anything else in porridge cartoons at all. Smells get in the way. Therefore, I don't need a big one at all.

Natasha, yes .. there are disadvantages. For me, for cereals and rice, it is the cuckoo that is the simplest of their line at home. At the dacha I use Orsyusha not only for cereals. Here I agree. Yes. However, I don't really feel any foreign odors in the finished dish. Although the nose looks like a dog's. And I also discovered a slow one for myself for the rapidly foaming type of barley. But that's a completely different story (c)
