Ingredients

milk 125 ml
eggs 1 PC
butter (melted) 50 ml
yeast 1 tsp
baking powder 0.5 tsp
For filling
tahini paste (sesame urbech) ~ 100 g
brown sugar ~ 100 g

Cooking method

Add eggs and melted butter to milk, mix with a whisk. Add yeast and baking powder to the sifted flour, mix, pour in the liquid mixture and knead the dough (I did this in a bread maker). Roll the dough into a ball, grease with vegetable oil, cover with foil and leave for 1 hour until it doubles in volume. Knead the matched dough and roll it into a rectangular layer (approximate size 36x26 cm, thickness 0.5 cm).

I did exactly according to the recipe and did not even think. I was surprised by the presence of baking powder, but I did not change anything, I did it according to the recipe. You can try removing the baking powder, add a little sugar and see the result. Maybe I'll try it next time.

The dough is very tender, obedient.The buns turned out to be moderately sweet, and I also slightly soaked a part (3 pieces), for a sweet tooth, with syrup. I only have this photo, in the process of impregnation, I did not have time to make another.

Since the dough is sugar-free, the buns are really moderately sweet. The sweetness can be adjusted by the amount of sugar in the filling - add more. Ideally, a soft brown sugar like Muscovado is good, but it's not always available now.
