Ingredients

Delicious concentrated tomato sauce or tomato paste 400gr.
fresh garlic 6-7 tooth.
sweet paprika 1h l.
freshly ground coriander 1h l.
freshly ground black pepper 1 / 2h l.
salt taste
sugar taste
fresh cilantro or microwave-dried and minced in a mortar 70-100gr
Basil dry 1h l.
drinking water, preferably boiled

Cooking method

We dilute the concentrated tomato sauce or tomato paste with water until the consistency of ketchup.
Add freshly squeezed garlic, paprika, black pepper, basil, coriander, freshly chopped cilantro. Cilantro can also be dried in the microwave and crushed in a mortar,
Add salt and sugar to taste, stir everything thoroughly.
Ketchup is ready, perfectly stored in the refrigerator and flies away quickly, I store it in a jar from under Nutella!

I already had the concentrated sauce sweet, so I didn't sugar the ketchup! This ketchup is prepared quickly and it turns out delicious, believe me, tastier than the store one and without any chemicals!

Note

I haven't bought ketchup in a store for a long time, this is the fastest, most budgetary, healthy and delicious recipe without boiling tomatoes and peppers !!! Who does not like cilantro can substitute fresh parsley !!!

The vast majority of ketchups are already ready-to-eat, and are cooked mostly only if your farm runs out of good tomato sauce or pasta.
A distinctive feature of ketchups is the mandatory content of tomatoes, plus various thickeners - starches, and others like them, designed to thicken the consistency and reduce the cost of the product. The only commercially produced ketchup, in which I did not find a thickener, is "Gentle, for children" ketchup under the Chumak trademark, 🔗.
There are no thickeners, preservatives, or colors in your recipe. Therefore, it can be safely called a sauce - this in no way diminishes its taste and charm, but only expands the range of its application (suitability for heat treatment).

This is the whole tsimus, that my ketchup is healthier and more natural than store-bought ketchup, besides it tastes better, tomato paste made from tomatoes is 100% tomatoes, you don't like buying expensive ketchup, ketchup producers do not buy tomatoes as raw materials, they also use tomato paste, bought in bulk for a cheap price and a bunch of all sorts of nasty things !!! I agree that the overwhelming majority of ketchups are badyazhat in our company on tomato paste or concentrates. But there are also brands that have their own agricultural products.areas where they grow their raw materials for their products. Here, in Ukraine, this is Kherson "Chumak", and in Italy - every self-respecting brand: Mutti, Biagi, etc. Therefore, if Italian canned tomatoes are labeled "Bio", then the price is overstated by one and a half times , and you can believe this "bio", because fraud and manipulation with this are not rolled there, because for a trademark this will mean kapets ...

Kapet, I make homemade ketchup and I don’t need a thickener, it costs a week in the refrigerator and it doesn’t leave for separate water and paste, as I made it to such a consistency, it remained and I don’t need dyes and stabilizers and taste improvers, because my ketchup tastes much better than store ketchup, are you wondering why they need additional chemicals? Yes, because their ketchup is not 100% tomato, they lower the cost in order to be in fat, and improve the taste with chemicals, it reminds me of a rubber woman !!! It looks like nothing from a distance, but no buzz from her !!! By the way, there are Baku and Armenian tomatoes and there are Chinese ones, you know the difference, so my recipe says to buy a delicious tomato paste or a concentrated tomato sauce made from 100% tomato !!!
