Lark Buns

Ingredients

Wheat flour 500 g
Water 300 ml
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 2 -2.5 st. l.
Rast. oil 3 tbsp. l.
Dry yeast 1.5 tsp.

Cooking method

  • "dough", take out and for an hour in the refrigerator.

  • stick the buns, grease the top, give them a little rest on the pan (not for long, otherwise they will lose their shape) and bake for 30-35 minutes. at 190 gr.

  • for lubrication I used the following (lean, instead of an egg) thing:
  • in a small cup, brew strong black tea (bag), dilute there 3 tablespoons of sugar, and 0.5 tablespoons of starch, warm it all up in the microwave - you get such a sweet tea jelly) - so lubricate them, the shine is guaranteed !!

Time for preparing:

30-35 minutes

Cooking program:

190 degrees

Note

Congratulations to all members of the forum with the "FORCES" (March 22, 40 Sebastian Martyrs) !!!!

I didn’t know that today, too, the dough swelled, only with potato broth, but also not rich, it’s still worth languishing. I think it is suitable for larks?

the larks turned out to be gorgeous, scattered in flight, and did not even have time to reach the camera. I was like a magpie, I gave my husband a job, I took my mother-in-law to a neighbor, she took it to a very religious person, and even took it to the church to grandmothers, but a little too. Thanks so much for the reminder.
OlgaVlad
Kneading the dough in CB? on which program?
SchuMakher
On the "test"
Vitalinka

here (in the sense of the Zaporozhye region) my great-grandmother and my mother baked bagels that day. Those cat. scalded
Natusichka
And I, and I will try to bake larks for tomorrow! I want to try out the dough that Tanya gave according to the recipe for "shamrocks", I really liked it!

yes, I think any baked goods will come in handy. It's just that this is the "call of spring" - according to the national calendar, 40 larks fly from warm regions and bring spring on their wings, that's why the "larks" are. but the bubuliki will be delicious too!
Albina
I thought I was late with the larks (something in my head knocked that today is the 22nd) - tomorrow is March 22 - IT IS NECESSARY TO BAKE In the morning I'll do it.It's good that I noticed in time
rinishek
I'm like that monkey rushing about. All the time I wanted to try to bake larks (well, tell me please! I would have baked myself a long time ago), and how can one step back from family traditions !?
you can bake both of them, so they won't eat !!!!
sweetka
Irus, halve the portions, then they will eat!
rinishek
Oh, I don't know .... I'll think about it until evening
Or maybe gray bagels, and tomorrow - larks ?! seem to have found a solution
sweetka
It is also an option! and then squares and triangles! to meet spring as it should be!
Albina
It seems, if I'm not mistaken, there was still a link how to sculpt them?
sweetka
Duc, why sculpt them there - pour yes drink knotted and made eyes. and cut the tail into feathers with a knife.
Vitalinka
Albina, yes everything is simple there! Roll out the dough into a flagellum and tie with a knot. The edge of the dough that is on top is the head, insert the raisins (eyes) into it. And that edge that is slightly flattened from below and cut with a knife - this will be the tail.
Natusichka
I have how to sculpt larks and even other versions of the dough, I don't even remember where I screamed ... It was at the very beginning (in the bud) of my baking career: girl_haha: But if anyone needs it, I will drop it.
Elena Bo
Here you can see how to sculpt

Now what? We, the domestic lark-mothers, look primitive, right? where can we put mastics with marzipans on cakes? we ought to at least pick raisins from the shop saikas for a peephole!
Natusichka
Well, they immediately noticed, but the person was just mistaken - you need to read not "flourishing", but "in the beginning, in the very bud" !!!!!
rinishek
oh, Light, amused

I'm not a cake maker, how to drink - I'm afraid of the word itself - marzipan! but how can I imagine that this very thing should be pulled somewhere else! nooooo, NOTHING!
but bagel larks - yes with pleasure! I'm already waiting for Easter - daddy's going to bake this thing! better than any cakes!
by the way, about the eyes - and how to push this raisin there so that it does not fall out later?
sweetka

uh huh. so I mean the embryo! INTO these are all children's games - larks. and then people move on to all kinds of souffles with savoyards.
And us with rinishek nrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! and other other New Year's deer.

my soul, my eyes are afraid, but my hands do. if everyone thought like you and were afraid all the time, can you imagine what a population explosion would shake this little planet?
rinishek
Yes Yes....
like, instead of putting the mastic on the cake - an honest feast for the wedding larks to do.
rinishek
girls, I still stopped at the bagels, but three birds turned out
however, I sat them in such a tight container that they grew together with their tails
turned out some straight hamsters [
Lark Buns
vopschem photo of my morning lark can be placed in the heading - how NOT to do

bagels turned out much better
in, bragging Lark Buns
Albina
rinishek, your birds just look out of the nest
Albina
I have already put the dough for larks without a gag: there was a cup of honey flakes diluted with milk for several days, put it in the dough and added some water, respectively. I looked into the bucket - the bun was formed In an hour with a tail I will sculpt larks
SchuMakher
And I put the Children are sick, maybe at least the larks will please them

ALL-ALL CONGRATULATIONS ON THE HOLIDAYS of the 40 martyrs of Sebastia !!! Good health, success and God's blessing to all!

And this is for you, help yourself:
Lark Buns

sweetka
And I baked! and already at work she treated me!
Lark Buns
Giraffe
And my husband called me from work, asked if I had forgotten about the larks. Forget with them
Albina
At lunchtime we were already eating Zhavoronkov. Thanks for the recipe it is a pity that the child could not be connected to the molding of larks: he was at school, maybe then he began to eat buns. They only said, "Why are the larks small?" And I have 40 of them. stuck.

THE SUFFERING OF THE SAINTS OF THE 40 MARTYRS OF SEVASTIA

He who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.
Jn. 11, 25

In 313 St. Constantine the Great issued a decree according to which Christians were allowed freedom of religion and they were given equal rights with pagans. But his co-ruler Licinius was a staunch pagan and in his part of the empire decided to eradicate Christianity, which spread significantly there. Licinius was preparing for a war against Constantine and, fearing treason, decided to cleanse his army of Christians.
The Suffering of the 40 Martyrs of Sebastia At that time, in one Armenian city of Sebastia, one of the military leaders was Agricolaus, a zealous supporter of paganism. Under his command was a squad of forty Cappadocians, brave warriors who emerged victorious from many battles. They were all Christians. When the soldiers refused to offer sacrifice to the pagan gods, Agricolaus imprisoned them. The wars indulged in fervent prayer and one night they heard a voice: "He who endured to the end, he will be saved."
The next morning the soldiers were again brought to Agricola. This time the heathen used flattery. He began to praise their courage, youth and strength and again invited them to renounce Christ and thus gain the honor and favor of the emperor himself. Once again, having heard the refusal, Agricolaus ordered the soldiers to be chained. However, the eldest of them, Kyrion, said: "The emperor did not give you the right to impose chains on us." Agricolaus was embarrassed and ordered to take the soldiers to prison without shackles.
Seven days later, the noble dignitary Lysias arrived in Sebastia and arranged a trial over the soldiers. The saints answered firmly: "Take not only our military rank, but also our lives, for us there is nothing dearer than Christ God." Then Lysias gave orders to stone the martyrs. But the stones flew off target; the stone thrown by Lysis hit Agricolaus in the face. The torturers realized that the Saints were protected by some kind of invisible power. In the dungeon the soldiers spent the night in prayer and again heard the voice of the Lord comforting them: “He who believes in Me, even if he dies, will come to life. Dare and do not be afraid, for you will receive the imperishable crowns. "
The next day, the trial and interrogation before the torturer was repeated, the soldiers remained adamant.
It was winter and there was a bitter frost. They stripped the holy warriors, led them to the lake, which was not far from the city, and put them under guard on the ice for the whole night. To break the will of the martyrs, a bathhouse was fired up on the shore nearby. In the first hour of the night, when the cold became unbearable, one of the soldiers could not stand it and rushed to the bathhouse, but as soon as he crossed the threshold, he fell down dead. At the third hour of the night, the Lord sent joy to the martyrs: suddenly it became light, the ice melted, and the water in the lake became warm. All the guards were asleep, only one by the name of Aglai was awake. Looking at the lake, he saw that a bright crown appeared over the head of each martyr. Aglaius counted thirty-nine crowns and realized that the fled warrior had lost his crown. Then Aglai woke up the rest of the guards, threw off his clothes and told them: "And I am a Christian!" - and joined the martyrs. Standing in the water, he prayed: “Lord God, I believe in You, in Whom these soldiers believe. Join me to them, that I may be worthy to suffer with Your slaves. "
The next morning the torturers were surprised to see that the martyrs were alive, and their guard Aglai, together with them, glorified Christ. Then the soldiers were taken out of the water and their shins were broken. During this painful execution, the mother of the youngest of the soldiers, Melito, urged her son not to be afraid and endure everything to the end. The bodies of the martyrs were put on chariots and taken to be burned. Young Meliton was still breathing, and he was left lying on the ground. Then the mother lifted her son up and carried him on her shoulders after the chariot. When Melito breathed his last, his mother put him on the chariot next to the bodies of his holy companions. The bodies of the saints were burned at the stake, and the charred bones were thrown into the water so that Christians would not collect them.
Three days later, the martyrs appeared in a dream to Blessed Peter, Bishop of Sebastia, and ordered him to give their remains to burial. The bishop with several clerics gathered the remains of the glorious martyrs at night and buried them with honor.

“All-glorious passion-bearers, courageous fighters, forty soldiers of Christ, you passed through fire and water and became fellow citizens of Angels. Pray to Christ with them for those who sing you: glory to Him who gave you firmness, glory to Him who crowned you, glory to Him who gives healing to everyone through your prayers. "

what beautiful larks everyone has !!

and I found why larks are baked:

Why larks? The peasants, paying attention to the fact that the singing lark either soars up, then falls like a stone to the ground, explained this by the special boldness and humility of these birds before God. The lark quickly rushes upward, but, struck by the greatness of the Lord, in deep reverence bends down. So the larks, according to the thought of our pious ancestors, represented a song of glory to the Lord, ascended by the martyrs, their humility and aspiration upward, to the Kingdom of Heaven, to the Sun of Truth - Christ.
