I have one, I'm happy. She exploited mercilessly, especially in the summer - in the fall, when rubbing currants (especially red on jelly), plums, tomatoes and others that have skin. In winter, I wipe tomatoes, cranberries - lingonberries.

That's for sure, it's better to wash the bowl from the combine than to poke the net for half an hour (for me)

The mashed potatoes in it turn out magical, but too much fuss. This is not a fast process. I now have a Kubik combine, there is a completely different matter, 5 seconds and everything is ready.
I overpowered myself today, and walked past this device when I went to the store. Although it was difficult.
It's good that this topic exists. There is a hope that someone will dissuade.

Where did you buy it? I have wanted such a thing for a long time and will buy it with pleasure, because it is vital for me! I was already messing with cottage cheese through a sieve, and berry purees too ...I wanted to order Teskom's mechanical one, but only until I saw this one ...

The idea is great. But here is a tame one - for a hardworking hostess with strong hands.
It is worth looking for an electric wipe.
Raspberries, strawberries, white and red currants, lingonberries - after rubbing - just do not tear off - how delicious
Cloudberry is a separate song - since it is generally impossible to eat it with seeds.
In general, the thing is necessary
I really have a nozzle for Kesha. But the idea is the same.

Milvok, if you have a garden with apples, currants, plums and tomatoes - take it! I use a mechanical tescom, rub berries, tomatoes, baked peppers, spinach and much more - I really like it! Wiping is a completely separate device, neither a chopper nor a meat grinder replaces it. For example, rubbing currants for jelly neither in a meat grinder nor in a blender can be done. I also wipe the spinach for pasta only in this sieve, since it is impossible to grind the spinach into a homogeneous puree with a meat grinder or a chopper, fibers will definitely remain. You won't use it every day, but if you need to wipe something, you will do it comfortably. It is easy to clean and disassemble mechanical wiping if you do it immediately after use, and with a dishwasher this is not a problem at all.

In short, if there is a financial opportunity - take it!
milvok
Doxy Thank you so much for your comment! I was just looking at Tescona. I have a couple more questions. In the store I tried to twist it, it seemed oh-oh-oh-chenb hard. Does it go away with time? Or is it easier to wipe with food? And there are also 3 replaceable nozzles - do you change them or use one?
Doxy

the tighter the stroke, the tighter the scapula is pressed against the sieve, respectively, the more thoroughly it wipes! I specially chose the tightest one)) They grind down over time, I will be at the dacha and take a picture of my old moulinex rub, by the way, if you meet a moulinex, take it, in my opinion, it is better than Tescoma.

And there are also 3 replaceable attachments - do you change them or use one?
Yes, I change, for spinach and currants the smallest, for tomatoes medium, on a large one did nothing, it seems to be for vegetable purees.
milvok
Got it. Thank you very much. Is Moulinex electrical or mechanical, and where did you buy equipment or dishes in stores?

Blender.

Blender.
There are four "blenders" in the kitchen (Tefalevo stationary, Philips harvester, Mulinex mill, bamiks) - none of them breaks spinach fibers. Maybe my hands are crooked or wooden spinach - I don't know. But, for me personally, spinach puree suits only after rubbing!

Moulinex - mechanical, bought in France 20 years ago. It is the same as the Tescoma, only the scapula has a slightly different configuration - without a pin, it collects the pulp more dexterously during the return stroke. But no matter how much I looked for a new Mulineksovskaya, I did not find it! I bought Teskou in Uuterra, during some action. If you find another company, take it. The principle is the same, just look at the tightness of the shoulder blade to the sieve.
If there is an opportunity to buy in Europe in French it is moulin à légumes, in English - food mill

I read the reviews on Amazon, and changed my mind about taking it - for many, the pen falls off after the third use (it doesn't smell for 20 years, anyway). Sobsno I was bribed by Doxy's review of it, but it seems that the quality of Moulinex has dropped. Well, so much the easier, let's rummage through local shops at least in search of Teskoma.

Doxy, you wrote about some kind of tail that captures the pulp better, could you explain what kind of tail it is and where to look for it - I will look for it, and I would like to understand the nuances))

For lack of electric, I bought a manual Teskiy. I use it for a couple of days. I was already rubbing black and red currants, tomatoes.
The impression is twofold. And it's not the ice to use, and you can't do without it either. Final product flawlessly
When rubbing red currants, a lot of foam is formed, the cake is quite dry (I did not guess at once).
At first I wanted to throw out the foam, then I thought about it and put everything on the marshmallow.
He wipes black currants without foam, but the cake is moist, no matter how you twist it.
Then tomatoes were used. We bought cream, but they are too meaty. I decided to get rid of the seeds and peels. Previously I had to grind with a blender.
The juice came out excellent. It was a pity to throw out the cake, I salted, squeezed out the garlic, cut the dill, formed cakes on a plate for marshmallows, smeared balsamic vinegar and olive oil on top with a brush and into the dryer. Let's see what happens)))
I will attach the photos a little later, they do not want to load from the dacha (((

And now the question is: Is there an alternative to the sit in the electric version?
Maybe the juicer is some fancy thread?
I need a sieve in order to separate the juice from the berries from the seeds, since it waves it through cheesecloth to filter it.
Red currants are heaped up, in the fall there will still be sea buckthorn and viburnum. We usually grind them with sugar, ala jam turns out

I also have Teskoma - no complaints about wiping, tough, wipes dry.
I did not have foam on red currants, maybe it depends on the variety.
In winter, I wiped the compote from dried fruits, from apple skins, and in general my son does not eat fruit from the compote, and the mashed semi-thick compote drinks well, so rubbing saves me all year round.

My parents drive red currants (and not only red ones) through a horizontal screw juicer from the Mriya combine (produced by our Yuzhmash)
The difference between their result and my wiping one is that they have skins, quite a bit, their jelly is a bit thicker, but not as perfect as through wiping
I don’t remember their bones, if they have, they are torn to such an extent that I don’t notice them.
So take a look at modern horizontal augers as an option, here are Oscars and Omegas:

milka80
julifera Thank you so much! Maybe from the variety. In any case, the currants are not all processed yet, I will take a picture of how I will wipe it.
And I'll go for a walk on the reference, although, in all honesty, how my nra rubs me, but I just can't get used to it - she jumps with me along with the pan)))

Apparently, the manufacturers of mechanical devices also go there - all for one year ... I did not see the rub in the last race to the dacha, I would take a picture - unkillable! Something tells me that it is 24 cm in diameter.

The tail is on the pressure blade, on the moulinex it is much smaller, but this is an insignificant element, the main thing is the tightness of the shoulder blade!

Vera, thank you very much! Now it is clear what to pay attention to. If I find a sieve of my dreams (gee, how romantic it is!), I will certainly unsubscribe here!
milka80
And I thought that the "tail" has a different functionality - when you turn it counterclockwise, it lifts all the cake from the sieve and it is easy to get it out of there)))
milka80
Doxy did not immediately realize what pulp is
Doxy
Yes, I thought ... pulp - from berries, cake - from seeds.
Maybe in the case of our sieve, it would be more correct to say - squeezes?))) Then there will be no discrepancies!

The pin on the pressure blade is made to make it easier to collect squeezes!

Everyone understands everything!)))

Girls, in no case take SUCH rub, sold under the nickname "grater"!
firstly, there are only two sieves in the kit - medium and large (there is no fine sieve usual for rubbing)
secondly, the blade pin is not inserted into the middle sieve,
thirdly (in the main!), the scapula is not pressed against the sieve!
fourthly, the shovel and sieves are made of dense sheet metal, perhaps they are made of stainless steel, but very thin and poorly processed.
fifthly, the fine sieve could not be pulled out of the plastic part ...
