Wow, what cool things! Just pouring it inside and into the freezer? And then - ice cream on a stick, right?

I bought such molds in Ikea. I don't remember how much they cost, but very cheap.

Yeah, that's right. So I have already put popsicles in these molds in the freezer for the experiment. tomorrow, probably, we will test. And the spout is made so that you can also drink melted ice cream from the stand.

Yes. And these are also cheap - a set of 4 cups 59 rubles. I took 2 sets.

Always happy to help. How do you make such ice cream balls?
Hairpin
With a special ice cream spoon! Two hemispheres superimposed on one another. And when you apply ice cream, the second hemisphere cuts it off!

Like, the same a little Queenie!!!

thank you !!
Qween
marysichca , I will also add that these spoons are different. And not everyone can make beautiful balls. There are spoons without an insert at all, which "cuts" the ball.

And if you take the ice cream out of the freezer and immediately "pick" it with even a good spoon, then the balls are not the same.

It is best to transfer the ice cream from the freezer to the refrigerator 30-40 minutes before serving.

I already have a collection of such spoons for forming balls - three pieces - one is better than the other. The latter was bought in METRO SS-professional type, made in the USA. I like her the most. This is the bottom one in the photo.

On the package it was written that with this spoon you can also form balls of fruit, minced meat !, and custard dough, that is, make eclairs.

I also have the same as in the photo, the lower one, the one that cuts off with a thin piece of iron))) but super beautiful balls do not come out yet)))

Maybe you don't melt enough ice cream? If it is soft, the balls are good.
shuska
Girls, I did not understand anything about cutting balls, I was never interested in this, but now it would be necessary. You can post a bigger photo so that I can examine and look for the same good one on sale. Pli-i-i-i-z.
Qween
And there it is not necessary to understand. "Shkreb" spoon on ice cream, and then squeeze the handles of the spoon over the plate. And the ball itself falls out.
fugaska
if you dip the "ball-making machine" in boiling water and immediately form a ball, then it will fall out instantly and remain beautiful - in any case, this is what they do in Baskin Robins
Qween
fugaska I tried boiling water. Not that.
In Baskin Robins, ice cream is soft, not the same as ours from the freezer.

Interestingly, only me "the toad strangles" to give for such a spoon from 70 UAH or more?

When I bought it in the Moscow METRO SS, I was surprised at the cheapness, 300 rubles, less than 10 dollars.
Hairpin
There are a lot of spoons here ... it's a pity that there are not enough pictures ...

NatalyaN , a little expensive of course, but what kind of balls are obtained.
Qween
shuska, here is a close-up photo of my spoon so that it is clear what kind of moving strip is inside. This strip "cuts" the ball.

Pysanka, thank you very much for your answer.
Tomorrow I will try to do it, but now I put the bowl in the refrigerator. First, you probably need to try the creamy one? What's easier?

I bought it for 40 euros on the website 🔗
I also took it there.
I made with baked milk using the Qween recipe.

Girls who want another ice cream maker and can order from Germany, it is on sale again (29.90 euros) and there are even such ice cream molds.

It's summer already, I make ice cream for children in such things. In a shallow one I freeze from juice, in a white one I make from baby fruit yogurt. The large one has a tray with a straw, what melts and flows down, you can drink through a straw.

Hurrah! Today I also became a happy owner of an Ice Cream Maker from TM Tchibo. The bowl is already in the freezer. Tomorrow I want to try to make Anastasia's Plombir.

Please tell me which spoon is better to buy for scooping with ice cream balls (I don't know what to call it correctly).
Qween
Ivanna, in the above, in this thread I gave a photo of my own, very good ice cream spoon.
Ivanna
Qween, Thanks for your reply !!! I am very glad because I bought the same one !! !
Pysanka
The girls brought me such familiar things, but I’m already on the road from Tchibo, selling for 50 UAH. I have 2 of them. Maybe someone needs it?

On Saturday I was at IKEA, which is on the Teply Stan. Ice cream molds were brought there. Exactly the same as at Pysanka. Manufacturer China, blue, red, green. I bought one pack of reds. I have not tried to do it yet. I don't have a device, but I have a lot of fiddling around by hand.
Nastasya
And here are such ice cream molds
Ice cream molds and spoons
now in IKEA are 30 rubles in total. They stand at the checkout in the very corner. Maybe someone needs it (even my mother took it from me).
Nastasya
Demonstrating the result of the shapes:
Ice cream molds and spoons
True, the ice cream itself was slightly frozen in the ice cream maker. Therefore, it did not fit well into the molds.
I discovered a GIANT lack of molds (damn it, why did I buy it) ... Ice cream began to be pulled out very easily ...It is enough to hold the mold for a couple of minutes at room temperature (or warm it in your palms, if you are not patient). I had enough mixture for 12 molds of strawberries with cream, which by the way is absolutely impossible for me (and just a little left for dinner in a bowl). This morning I ate already 6. Well, it's just a nightmare !!!!
But a lot of people appeared around who thoughtfully say that they also need an ice cream maker. Probably. A little more and we'll finish it ... While they think they can take from me. Naive. I seriously think that I need one more. Alternatively, buy an extra bowl. By the way, maybe they are ??
Ernimel
and also interesting - is it possible to freeze ice cream after the machine, not in containers, but in molds? I have such a thing - Eskimo molds for 6 servings.

I made fruit ice in them somehow, but will an ordinary popsicle be obtained if I shift it in them or does not hold homemade ice cream?

It seems to me that what you freeze in, this shape will be, only they said that popsicles are easier to pull out of such molds than ice cream sundaes. To make it easier to take out, you need to hold the mold under hot water for a few seconds - I did this, it was pulled out without problems.
Gypsy
and the juice and wogurt pops out of the mold easily. I suspect the homemade ice cream will pop out the same way. Correctly wrote above, under hot water for seconds and immediately pull it out. I have such forms:

So I have such molds, as in the bottom photo, so only fruit jumps out of them remarkably, well, even yoghurt can hardly be taken out whole, but with creamy I just worn out. That's why I switched to plastic cups.

I just freeze yogurt in these white ones, just one jar of baby yogurt is equal to one serving of ice cream, after hot water everything pops up wonderfully and entirely .. there was a photo, but on the old computer .. now I can't find it, if only I make new ones.
