Fish meatballs A la stuffed pike in a Panasonic multicooker

Ingredients

Pike fillet 1.2KG
Bulb onions 3 pcs.
Eggs 1 PC.
Beet 2 pcs.
Carrot 3-4 pcs.
White bread (pulp) 1-2 pieces
Salt, ground black pepper
Peppercorns 5-6 pcs.
Bay leaf 2-3 pcs.
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Fish fillet through a meat grinder 2 times. 1 onion and 1 carrot as well
  • mince and add to the minced meat. Previously, they can be cut coarsely and simmered a little in vegetable oil or using a microwave (850 W for 2 minutes) - this is to discourage the taste of river fish from the pike. Soak the bread in milk and add to the minced meat by passing it through a meat grinder. Break the egg into the minced meat, salt and pepper and knead very well. Take the minced meat with wet hands and form it into balls the size of a small apple.
  • Peel the remaining carrots, beets and onions and cut into thin rings.
  • Spread out the bottom of the multi 1/3 vegetable mixture, put in half the balls. On top of them is another 1/3 of the vegetables. Next, the remaining balls and the remaining vegetables on top.
  • Add sugar, salt, lavrushka, pepper. Pour boiling water over so that everything is just covered with water.

Time for preparing:

2 hours.

Cooking program:

Put on Stew

Note

I bought a pike fillet. And I took the whole recipe from stuffed pike, but since there was nothing to stuff, I made it in the form of meatballs. A slow cooker fits here very well in my opinion, because the recipe says to cook on very low heat for about 2 hours - the multi-steaming program is the most!

The dish can be eaten both cold and hot. I like it.
