Peace be with you bakers!
I have already made such bread 5 times but with the addition of puffed rice
but for the first time I got into trouble for those who will make this bread
small tip:
Dilute cocoa with water and take nesquik better
and most importantly chocolate, it must be taken from milk.
otherwise I took it by weight for the first time, by the way it was written on the price tag,
that it is intended for baking and decorating products.
so the bread turned out salty
and the last time instead of cocoa, sugar, and cream added 5 tablespoons
spoons of cocoa with milk you know in cans are sold as condensed milk
this is in my opinion the most optimal solution!

So, finally, I got to the recipe for chocolate bread. It turned out that he deserves it to be baked too often. And also, it seems to me that this topic lacks photos, so I wanted to fill the gap. I looked in the internet for bread recipes and I liked one of the options called "Black Forest". It must be admitted that there are very insignificant differences in the recipe for chocolate breads that are not worth opening a separate topic. In terms of its composition, my version, it seemed to me, is closest to this topic.
So, I baked according to this recipe:
milk - 1 glass
water - 0.5 cups
butter - 3 tbsp. spoons
egg - 1 pc.
salt - 1 tsp.
sugar - 0.5 cups
cocoa powder (bitter) - 4 tbsp. l.
flour - 4 - 4.5 cups (control the bun)
yeast - 1.5 tsp. (since I only bake on "live" yeast, I put 15 g)
a glass of crushed pieces of chocolate (I took black, 75% "Russian Expedition") and walnuts.
Sweet bread mode.

The result exceeded all expectations. A handsome 19.5 cm tall was baked, with well-baked pulp.

I would like to share some more small comments.
On the same day, a friend baked the same bread with me. She has the same model x / stove as mine. The composition of the products was taken the same, except for yeast (she bakes dry) and chocolate - a friend had a Roshen firm with a lower percentage of cocoa content (47%). As a result, we got two completely different breads: a friend's bread is 3 cm lower, the color is rich, chocolate and the chocolate itself "melted" in the dough, while mine, after cooling the bread, "gathered" into solid pieces, as it was when laying. The taste is also different (the husband said that he liked his friend more, she got a sweeter and brightly brewed chocolate). So you can adjust the taste of the resulting bread according to your preferences. And my friend's height is lower, I think, also due to the fact that the "melted" chocolate made the dough a little heavier, and the "live" yeast, it seems to me, played an important role in this process - the height of my bread is also their merit.

Good evening. The oven started a few days ago and, at the request of the family, made chocolate bread. The bread turned out to be beyond praise. Made strictly according to the recipe. And at the saf-moment he got up so that he got out of shape. Thank you very much for such a wonderful recipe. Here he is my handsome man:

I want to try. All ingredients are there. But which glass? How much is it in ml?
Val
There is no particular difference - a 240 ml glass or 250, that's all, after all, both liquid and flour are measured in one glass, and flour is indicated in 4-4.5 glasses just to adjust "your" kolobok, starting with the minimum amount. Maybe 4 glasses will be enough for someone

Yes, the bread is very tasty, it is with Nesquik cocoa that my daughter likes the most, I often bake her like that. And it turns out very original if you add walnuts.Chocolate bread in a bread maker]

split everything in half. and nothing happened ... not grown, wet in the middle ... ugh ... maybe because she divided the portion into 2?

GalinkaMalinka , it’s a pity that you didn’t get bread. And which of the suggested recipes did you bake? Were they the same foods as always (yeast, flour)? Reducing the proportions by 2 times should not have affected the final result. Today, too, an unpleasant surprise awaited me when baking repeatedly baked sweet breads with consistently excellent results. Today the bread turned out to be dense and low, but nevertheless, unlike your experiment, it is quite edible and even tasty, but still not the same as always. But I know the reason: quite recently I decided to experiment with yeast, by On the advice of my mother-in-law, I bought "live" ones from the Odessa company "Akmaya" (they seem to be called that way) by analogy with the Turkish "Pakmaya"). While they were fresh, the baked goods were still normal, but in the process of using them, their "lifting force" decreased and decreased, in contrast to the Lvov ones, which I usually use. And yet, I decided to get rid of the last 500 g of flour, a little floating, and I couldn't think of anything smarter than I also stuck it into this bread. That is, what I put in is what I got. Let's try to figure it out with your unsuccessful experiment?

Val Well, that's why I'll write my changes in fat. I don’t know, maybe there’s too much shekolada

GalinkaMalinka, I don’t even know what to advise you, I didn’t bake the Andrew4351 version. Most likely, there will still be a bit too much chocolate for your proportion of bread, especially since you again did not indicate which chocolate you used (if you carefully read my recipe, you probably paid attention to different results from different chocolate). The melted chocolate makes the product heavier and does not allow it to grow (especially in the same quantity as yours). Today I met my friend, whom I already wrote about. Yesterday she again baked chocolate bread according to my version and her delight has no limit: the bread turned out to be high, under the very glass of the lid of the oven, she increased the baking time by 6 minutes, and used two types of chocolate - the one that "melts" and solid, remaining in pieces, in addition to nuts, I also added raisins (well, this is not for everybody). My advice to you, try to bake again in normal proportion, or, if you like, experiment with my version.

Hello! I also really wanted to try baking chocolate bread. But I just don't know which program to bake on. I don't have a sweet bread program (I have a bork x500). But there is a dessert program, which lasts 1 hour 38 minutes. Will this program work? I have never used it yet.
Admin

The dessert program will not work. It is better to use the Basic (basic) mode with a long time.
Lyudmila G
Thanks for the quick response! I will try. Do you accidentally tell me what you can cook with this program? I would like to protest her, but I don’t know what.
