Aromatic semolina porridge, golden in the Panasonic SR-TMH18 multicooker

Category: Dishes from cereals and flour products

Ingredients

Butter 2 tbsp. l.
Semolina 4 tbsp. l.
Salt 1/4 tsp
Sugar 2 tsp
Milk 1.5 tbsp.
Water 1.5 tbsp.

Cooking method

  • Switch on the "Steam cooking" mode for 1 minute. Put butter in a saucepan, when melted - pour cereal evenly on the bottom. Stir with a silicone spatula (the mass does not collapse into lumps, but foams a little). As soon as the mass becomes golden, pour in hot milk and water in a trickle (stir with a spatula). Then add salt and sugar. Close the lid of the multicooker, open after the signal, stir (you can turn off the heating), and close the lid. Leave the porridge for 10-15 minutes.
  • Now you can serve.
  • If there is no multicooker, then you can cook this porridge in a saucepan with a thick bottom, or in an ordinary saucepan, placing it on the divider.

Note

This porridge smells very tasty, not at all like ordinary one. And the taste is very different from the usual "semolina".
V. V. Pokhlebkin's recipe, with my changes.

The porridge is of medium density. Usually I cook 1 serving, but if the amount of ingredients is doubled, the result will be the same.

A glass in a multicooker recipe.

Bon Appetit!

I will definitely do it !!!
The only question I have is how to set the time "steam cooking for 1 minute" in the cartoon? In the same place, 10 minutes are exhibited at once ... and on an increasing

vmawhen you reach 60 minutes, press the button further - the countdown will immediately start from 1 minute

PS: I accidentally made a mistake in the amount of liquid. Already fixed.

Something did not work out for me porridge
I turned on the steam boiling for 1 minute, pressed the start, put the butter, when it melted, poured the flour and almost immediately the "Steam cooking" mode ended and the cartoon switched to "Heating".
I again set "Steam cooking" for 1 minute, the butter and semolina froze a little and that's it, didn't change the color at all. The regime is over again.
I then still poured milk and water, sugar + salt. And for the third time "steaming".
For some reason, the porridge did not taste different from the usual ...

vma, it's a pity that you didn't succeed. Everything is easy for me.

When I turn on the "Steam cooking" mode with the lid open, the time does not start. I think it's because there isn't enough temperature. And when I close the lid, after a while the countdown begins.

I wonder if the cartoon works differently for everyone?

vma, can you try on the stove for now? Or, in the cartoon, set a time of more than one minute (so that everything has time to fry), for example, 5 minutes.
