Ingredients

rice 1 glass
short vermicelli 1/2 cup
butter 50g
salt pepper

Cooking method

  • For a glass of long-grain rice you need half a glass of short noodles. If there is no short one, then you can break the long one into pieces of 2.5-3 cm. You also need 40-50 grams of butter.
  • We wash the rice, soak it in hot water for 15 minutes.
  • Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and fry the noodles until browning. Drain the rice, add to the noodles, and fry for a couple of minutes, covering the rice with oil. Pour 1.5 cups of hot water, salt, pepper with ground black pepper, bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to a minimum, keep it under a closed lid for 8-10 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed into the rice.
  • Turn off the heat, and without opening the lid, wait 10 minutes until the rice ripens.
  • Stir and the garnish is ready.
  • Cooked as a side dish for grilled chicken. The husband did not finish the offered piece of chicken. But not a single grain of grain remained. He said that it is very tasty, but meat is not at all necessary.
