Beef 1,5kg
bulb onions 0.7kg
tomato 0.7kg
kinza 150gr
parsley 150gr
dill 0.1kg
Hot peppers 1 PC
Garlic 2 teeth

Cooking method

  • Cut the prepared meat into small pieces, about 3x3cm. A thick-walled saucepan (I cook in a wok), put on medium heat and put the meat there. In the process of stewing, juice is formed, in which the meat is actually stewed. Remember to stir frequently!
  • After 40 minutes, when the liquid has almost evaporated, add finely chopped onion. If the meat is not fat, you need to add a little vegetable oil. Stew until the meat is cooked. Then send the pre-scalded, peeled and finely chopped tomatoes to the pan, and after 10 minutes add chopped herbs and chopped peppers. The sauce for chashushuli should be thick enough, it should not cover the meat by about 1-1.5 cm. If there is not enough sauce, add water to the required level. Of course, this is not very good, but in the land of evergreen tomatoes, there is no other way out. The main thing is not to pour water. And at the very end, add chopped garlic, and after a minute turn off the heat. Keep the meat covered for 10 minutes, and you can serve it!
  • It is best to bake vegetables for a side dish, but the most ideal option is fresh white bread.

I love these dishes very much - meat, vegetables, herbs and without water.

I also have a problem with normal tomatoes here. So I settled down in banks to buy - peeled in my own juice. Quite a decent replacement, at least a lot of juice.

I also always have a couple of cans of tomatoes in my own juice in stock. Only not everywhere is it possible to replace fresh ones with canned ones. I remembered Bruschetta with homemade tomatoes and almost choked on saliva
