Good afternoon to the Orionists !!! Yesterday I bought OBM 206 and got upset. In a bread maker there is a choice of bread weight only on three programs, and on the rest, where there is no choice which recipes to use, for 900 or 1250 grams ???

I have such a bread machine. I do as it is written in the recipes. There, both large and small sizes are written for these programs. I do it this way and it always happens.

Girls, I noticed that only Ukrainians indulge in Orions! Russian women have more decent devices. This is already from the experience of use. There are many complaints about the regimes. I threw my little book from the stove for a long time, and switched to recipes from the site, and I treat the choice of weight as follows: due to the fact that Orions have one plus is the possibility of a large loaf, then in recipes with flour content up to 0.5 kg - choice for weight 900, and where 600g and above, then I put on weight 1.250. In other modes (tested by experience) where the weight is not set (for example, "French") baked different sizes, and all the way. And the recipes in the booklet are full of lanterns. If I hadn't found this site and a bunch of tips and different recipes, there was a desire to throw it out. And then she got used to it. But honestly, I'm going to give it to someone and buy a decent one. Still, as you know, "on a cheap fish" ...

Dear Inusya, I strongly disagree with your assessment of ORION!
ALL, I emphasize, ALL recipes from the book from the oven are baked with a bang.

In my ORION-205 ("cheap, in your opinion"), there is a simple function -
- YOUR OWN cooking program, which you yourself write into memory and can change countless times !!!
I know for sure that the PRAISED PANASONIC DOES NOT HAVE this at all.

And the quality of BREAD depends on the state of mind, not on the price of a bread machine.
Personal experience - LG from ORION is more expensive by 500 hryvnia, and bakes bread WORSE.

Inusya, I have a 206 model and from the first day I have been using the recipes that came with it. Everything works out great. I have not used other stoves, but I am pleased with this one. If Orion bread machines were sold in Russia, then Russian women would use them.

Whichever bread maker you buy, you still need to adapt to it. And to the expensive bread makers used by the unfortunate rich Russian women, and to the cheap bread makers used by the happy Ukrainian women. For example, after some (very short) period of getting used to it, I can put on the bread with my eyes closed, completely insane ... and it will turn out delicious! I have a bread maker Orion OBM-204, I'm glad, I'm not overjoyed!
