Ingredients

Dough:
Milk 3/4 cup
Water 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp. l.
Rast. oil 2 tbsp. l.
Flour 4 glasses
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt 1.5 tsp
Dry yeast 2 1/4 tsp
Filling:
Finely chopped parsley 2 tbsp. l.
Finely chopped chives 2 tbsp. l.
Grated Cheddar Cheese 100 g

Cooking method

  • Stir all the filling ingredients and set aside for later use.

  • 1. Add the ingredients to the machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer of your bread maker. Select the "Dough" mode. Press the start button.


  • 2. After the oven is finished, place the prepared dough on a lightly floured table and knead it.


  • 3. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Roll out 10 portions from one part of the dough. Roll each piece into small cakes with a diameter of ~ 7 cm, in the middle of which put 1 tbsp. l. cooked filling. I strongly advise you not to try to roll the cakes of the same size. All the charm of this bread is in a beautiful and unusual top, which looks different every time. If you get the cakes of one ideal shape, then it will be completely uninteresting.


  • 4. Divide the second part of the dough into 10 pieces. Roll them into tortillas and cover the stuffed tortillas with them. Thus, you should have exactly 10 closed sandwiches. If you still have the filling, sprinkle it on top of each "sandwich"


  • 5. Place the sandwiches on top of each other and place in a greased bread pan.


  • 7. Cover with a towel and allow to stand in a warm place for an hour or until doubled.


  • 8. Brush the surface of the bread with milk.


  • 9. Remove the finished bread from the oven, remove from the mold and let cool on the wire rack.

This unusual bread will give you and your kids a lot of joy in cooking. For the filling, you can use any herbs to your taste and even ready-made dough. Instead of Cheddar, you can take any cheese, only preferably bright yellow or orange, this will give the filling an interesting color.

I wanted to arrange a story about baking this bread in a bread maker in a different way, and since it turns out that I am blonde in places, it turned out what happened

I put all the ingredients according to the recipe, only added 3/4 cup of milk + 2 tablespoons together with water. (it was just too much milk at home). I measured flour with these 240g glasses, I got 540 grams of flour by weight (this is for those who weigh flour)

It means that I poured all the ingredients into the bucket and put the program on the dough, and ran to park the car, I didn't even control the bun, until I came from the parking lot, the dough was already finishing kneading, everything worked out.

from ricks, even with the photo, something happened where the bread went very well
and there is nothing to show. There I just made a mistake, I opened the Bread Maker, greased the top with milk and for some reason sprinkled it on top with the remaining filling, and it was not necessary to do that. After a while, the beautiful top of the bread simply fell. The bread did not lose its taste, it just became not photohygienic. next time I will not look there

At first, the formed loaf did not completely occupy the bottom, therefore I was a little worried, suddenly it would not work. But then the dough came up.
The result is a very pleasant crust on the outside and on the tooth, the dough is fluffy, the pungency-salinity-sweetness is just right, the cheese is felt well. I'll write it down in a notebook
