Turkey thigh fillet with vegetables and rice

Ingredients

Rice
Turkey thigh fillet
carrot
bulb onions
Sweet pepper
Greens (dill, parsley, basil)

Cooking method

  • As they say, war is war (read heat by heat), but you want to eat.
  • I just bought a mixture of wild and golden rice here the other day. And today I prepared just such a thing. If you add something and remove something, there will be risotto. But I have nothing to remove or add, therefore, modestly, but tastefully.
  • Preparation
  • Boil rice in salted water for 20-25 minutes. Drain, rinse.
  • Fry the pieces of turkey in vegetable (I have olive) oil, remove, in the same oil, fry the carrots, onions, peppers cut into pieces, at the end add the herbs. Return the turkey to the pan, season with salt and pepper and simmer on low heat until tender. If necessary, add a little vegetable oil, put rice, mix gently and hold under a lid over low heat for a couple of minutes.
