Fruit shortbread biscuit pie

Ingredients

on a 40x30 baking sheet or a Ø 28 cm dish
shortcrust pastry
225 gr flour
60 g sugar
1 bag of vanilla sugar
150 gr soft butter or margarine
1 table. a spoonful of milk or liqueur
interlayer
strawberry jam
biscuit dough
4 eggs
2 table. spoons of hot water
125 g sugar
125 gr flour
1 tea flat spoon of baking powder
25 g starch
coating
strawberry 1 kg
icing sugar 50 gr
2 table. tablespoons of sugar
2 bags of cake jelly (for a mold Ø 28 cm 1 bag)

Cooking method

  • shortcrust pastry

  • Knead a soft dough from the specified products. Roll out the dough on baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at T 200 ° (convection 180 °) for 15 minutes. Cool slightly without removing it from the mold.

  • interlayer

  • Grease the finished cake with confiture.

  • biscuit dough

  • Add hot water to the eggs and beat on the highest speed for 1 minute until frothy. Add sugar within 1 minute and beat for another 2 minutes.

  • Flour and starch mixed with baking powder are added quickly at the lowest speed.

  • Pour the dough into a mold on the confiture and bake for another 15 minutes at the same temperature until tender. Cool completely.

  • coating

  • Cut the strawberries in half lengthwise (it took me about 800 grams to make a diameter of 28 cm), sprinkle with powdered sugar, mix gently and set aside to release the juice. Put the strawberries on a sieve or colander to drain the juice, dry and put on the cooled cake.

  • Prepare cake jelly according to the instructions on the bag (use strawberry juice, adding water to the required amount).

  • Pour the cake over the jelly and let it freeze.

  • There will be no cut - there were guests. What they didn't finish, they took with them.

  • Of course, the pie can be made with any fruit or berry. It is only desirable that the jam and the coating are of the same taste.

  • Whipped cream was served with the pie.
