Ingredients

Dry yeast 2 1/2 tsp
Wheat flour, premium 500 g
Salt 3/4 tsp
Sugar 100 g
Butter 125 g
Vanilla sugar 1 pack. (8 g)
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.
Raisins 100 g
Nuts (peanuts, cashews) 75 g
Eggs 2 pcs. + 1 protein
+ water up to 240 ml
For lubrication - 1 yolk
Topping - icing sugar

Cooking method

  • Break 2 eggs into a measuring cup. Add 1 protein and water to the 240 ml mark. Put the products in the bucket of the bread machine according to the instructions. Roll the raisins in flour. Coarsely break or chop the nuts. Add raisins and nuts to the dispenser or add on signal. Switch on the Basic raisin bread program, size L (large), light crust. Brush the top of the dough with yolk before baking. After baking, sprinkle with icing sugar.

I baked it without nuts (I put dried apricots instead of them) and in the end I liked it, but I got very crumbly bread - both crust and crumb.
