Squid salad with cauliflower
Category: Cold meals and snacks
Ingredients
Canned squid 1 can
Cauliflower (or broccoli)
(about 500 g, frozen) 1 pack.
Onion-medium onion 1 pc.
Refueling:
you can mayonnaise, or you can olive oil
+ a few drops of lemon juice,
or any salad dressing you like
Cooking method

Boil cauliflower in salted water for a couple of minutes, so that it is not "blotchy". (It is possible in a double boiler)
At this time, cut the onion into thin half rings and put in a colander, pour the cabbage directly onto the onion (in the case of a double boiler, scald with boiling water).
Disassemble the squids from the jar, cut them thinly.
Mix everything, cool, fill.

I think that fresh cabbage and non-canned squid will be even tastier, but this will not be so quick.

Great recipe
By the way, raw cauliflower grated on a coarse grater is perfect with squid! Creates an airy volume and a neutral base like boiled potatoes. And the sauce is olive oil with lemon, or add a little mustard and soft cottage cheese to the oil with lemon - you get diet mayonnaise

Alexandra thanks for the comments. I haven’t tried it with raw cabbage .. but in this salad I usually undercooked it so that it would crunch a little - and it’s delicious.

The recipe for the sauce is interesting, should fit.
