Uncle Sam
Hello everybody.
My little experience of using a coffee maker. When they gave me the Ufesa carob, I was not at all a coffee lover. But having tasted coffee from it, and even good ... I didn't even lie next to the instant coffee.
And regarding the harmfulness of coffee (a hackneyed topic of magazines and forums about healthy eating) I will say the following:
Good brewed coffee (in a Turk or a coffee maker, no difference) does not negatively affect the body. As a doctor, I declare. I checked my blood pressure and pulse before and after a large mug of espresso. The same! But the body now does not tolerate cheap instant coffee.
Now I dream of a coffee machine. So that she herself grinds and brews and throws out the squeezed tablets.
Well, I can advise everyone: if you like coffee, but there is no extra space in the kitchen (and most importantly - extra time in the morning) - buy a coffee maker; carob is better than drip and geyser; and if you choose from carob, then with a working pressure of at least 10 bar (I only have 5 bar - not all aromas come out in a mug).
natalka
A carobwhat is it? It seems that I have met different and I have used many different, but the word itself carob did not hear. Explain, plizz ...
Uncle Sam

starts in all coffee makers the same way - water boils,
overheated water passes through a container with coffee - a geyser coffee maker,
if dripping on coffee in an open filter - a drip coffee maker,
if the superheated steam goes into a small metal container, where a portion of ground coffee is poured in another place - a carob coffee machine.
(the horn is a small scoop, in the bottom of which holes were made by a laser, poured ground coffee into it, pressed it to the coffee maker, got a mug, shook out a "pill" of cake, that's it.
natalka
It turns out that I have just a carob coffee machine. Wow, but I did not know. Of course, I like coffee in it more than in others, but I'm still not very happy. Somehow it doesn’t work the way you want, but I can’t even imagine how to achieve what I want. In some coffee houses, very rarely, I like boiled coffee, and from what I get at home, I like instant coffee more. Looks like my hands don't grow from there to coffee. I already bought all sorts of Golds in grains and ground different ones, but all the dumpster comes out. I can’t drink it and pretend that I am using divine nectar. Maybe there is some secret?

Maybe post a picture? And then from the description I personally did not understand anything.

Do I understand correctly that you described the electric espresso machine?
natalka
Thank you Cat for the recommendation. I'll try to cook it according to your recipe, it might be good. But my fortress, in my opinion, is not regulated. You can see a coffee maker, it couldn't be easier.
Cat
When you insert the horn into the coffee machine, pay attention to how hard you tighten it.In simple coffee machines, this is the adjustment of the strength of the drink, there should be drawn or squeezed cups from dark to light, at least in my old "Boche" it was like that. Oh, I completely forgot, be sure to STAMP the coffee in the horn with a spoon, but not much.
natalka
I'll go check what I have drawn or squeezed out and try from what I have, but taking into account your recommendations, to make something similar to coffee.

Furniture, thanks for the answer. I didn’t know that it was espresso machines in Russia that are called espresso coffee makers, and macinths are called geyser coffee makers. Now I will know

Similarly, But apparently this is a recent introduction, before the espresso coffee maker was called that, I personally bought it a century ago. I hear about carob for the first time. And then there were two types on sale: espresso and with filters, at least among the people they distinguished them that way.

Does anyone know information about VES-V-FS7 coffee makers
🔗
Nowhere can I find reviews about it. The low price and pressure of 19 bar attracts. Coffee machines of this class usually have up to 15 bar.
And what kind of company is "VES"? China?
Yana
tanya 1962, I looked at this and other sites about coffee. There is nothing there. That's why I'm asking here. Maybe someone bought this? I know "VES" produces aero grills. But what kind of coffee makers they have is unknown.

Dear Soforumites!
Someone wrote that he is the owner of the Ufesa coffee maker. The other day I "inherited" this wonderful car, but without any documents.
Of course, I know how to brew coffee in it, but I can't understand how to make cappuccino and why the regulator on the side is on the side (before that there was a drip, in order to quickly brew, and a Turk, for a stronger and richer one). And then somehow it is not interesting: there is an opportunity to "make" a cappuccino, and not use it.
Therefore, please, if possible, reset the scan in a personal or email.
Thank you in advance.

Dear Tashenka!
Ufesa is releasing a cloud (for sure) of coffee makers. Write at least what model you have. Or at least send a photo - we will look on the Internet on occasion. Shaw, it's hard for us, is it?

I turned over her darling and found such an inscription CE-7455.

I looked on the Internet. The coffee maker is old, there are no instructions anywhere - I searched in English, German, Polish.

But! There is a manual for a coffee maker from the same company with similar functions, power, pressure and similar appearance. The model is different. But the instructions should be similar.
Downloaded from a Spanish site. The instructions include Russian. I think it will suit you.Throw off the soap in a personal, I'll send it.

Let the happy owner of a Spidem coffee machine join your topic. Now I will praise my coffee maker. Firstly, now, with an espresso machine, I have just begun to distinguish between types of coffee, although I always drink natural coffee. Previously, only the basic shades "bitter" - "sour" were available, at this stage the whole range of tastes was revealed, the difference in varieties (arabica, rabusta), the degree of roasting, the concentration of caffeine, these are the softest, tart or floral notes, etc. e. Secondly, my coffee maker with a coffee grinder, which allows you to always use the aroma of coffee at 100%. Thirdly, espresso coffee is devoid of a fraction that has a diuretic effect, so in the morning at work, going to the toilet is not a tradition (I apologize for the details). Fourthly, Spidem is a division of Saeco (one of the very first companies that started producing coffee makers many years ago). Now Saeco horns (and Spidem have exactly the same) have an opening valve that allows you to reach a pressure of 15 bar, regardless of the degree of grinding of the coffee and the degree of its compaction (although in truth, this can slightly adjust the taste), which reduces operational problems many times.
My husband and I "drank" 200 grams of coffee in 3 days after purchasing the coffee maker. Now the excitement has subsided, but the coffee maker is used constantly.
What I can say about the shortcomings of my coffee maker is only that there is no regulation of the height of the cup (I like cappuccino from tall cups). But this option was present only in expensive machines (for us it was not an option).
In buying a coffee maker, only the price should stop you. If you can afford it, don't hesitate to buy. (My advice is to give preference to the generally recognized brands Saeco, Gaggia, they cost almost the same in analog models and take at least 15 bar (only coffee brewed with this pressure is called espresso)). Good luck

2 years ago my husband gave me a Saeco-magic espresso coffee maker on March 8th. Here

I only registered on the forum today, but I have already read many topics. Here, too, I want to please myself with a coffee maker. Only I want better, more expensive, but better. I am counting on the maximum amount of 200-320 dollars. How satisfied are you with the model? I looked at the description, in general I liked it. Of course, I'm not a coffee lover, but since I drink coffee in the morning, I really want to drink a good one. Or at least not entirely bad. Does this coffee maker make a good cappuccino?

And I have a Bork espresso machine. Cool car, I'll tell you ... True, I bought it almost 2 years ago, and it cost somewhere in the region of 13 thousand, but recently I saw on the Bork site almost the same as mine, but cheaper, if I'm not mistaken, or 4, or closer to 5 thousand, but only it is much smaller than mine, and it also brews espresso, and there is a cappuccinatore. Look ... we can may suit you.

I had a Binatone espresso machine. It cost about 2200. (now there are 2 models on the market, they cost from 3200 to 4800)
She brewed good coffee with a chiffchaff. Cappuccino froth could be manually whipped. But this purely manual coffee machine had to be ground into a coffee grinder (I bought a specially for her a millstone with degrees of grinding) I had to stand nearby to turn it off when the cup was full. There is no strength regulator in it (the strongest coffee flows for the first 25 seconds) The principle is that the more coffee is poured, the less strong it turns out.
But since the device was inexpensive and coffee from under the 15 bar turned out to be a good sin to complain. She served for 3 years. Then the daughter unscrewed the steam valve for milk and something cracked there. She remained to brew coffee without cappuccino. I didn't repair it - I bought a Bosch coffee machine. the coffee machine is very good, but the infection creaks. We'll have to call a specialist from the service again.

Yanochka, my previous coffee maker, which served 3 years without fail (although she still brews coffee, but the cappuccinator has been broken) was similar to the 2nd model, but without the switch in front. In principle, it was convenient to control the strength of the coffee for myself - a little bit stronger, the looser just needed to stand next to her while she was making coffee.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I've looked and decided to expand my budget to $ 620. I'll have to drink the usual for a couple of months, but then I decided to buy this 🔗 unless of course I change my mind. And then I have been chasing a multicooker in Kiev for the second month, there are no bread makers yet either (Panasonic ones as I want). so I'm saving up some money :) Thanks again to everyone.

I don't have one. But when he was going to deal with Saeko coffee machines, he wrote a business plan for them.
The company is one of the most reliable coffee machine manufacturers.
It produces not only home devices, but also semi-professional models.
For more than 4 years, Saeko's coffee machine has been making coffee every day. They compare it to "an elite knife for a great chef."

And this model is 100% worth its money. And even more, because it can brew coffee from pods (there is an insert for these "bags").
Irino4ka
Thank you, I decided - tomorrow I'm going to eat and take it, especially since the thought was hatched for more than one day, a bunch of coffee makers were looked through. Still, I keep a reference point for the price. Moreover, there are coupons from the last purchase, you must use them until the time is up. Hope for a discount.

I bought a Saeko Nina espresso machine a month ago. Since I practically did not drink coffee before, there is nothing to compare with. I'm happy with the coffee. But there are doubts: a lot of water remains in the horn after making coffee. Before that, somewhere on the forums I read that an almost dry tablet of coffee is forming in the horn, and if this does not happen, then something is wrong. But then I didn’t have a coffee maker and maybe I misunderstood something ... Who has an espresso machine, do you have water in the horn?

I have Saeko too. Water sometimes remains, but that's okay. It all depends on the degree of grinding and the type of coffee. I buy ground coffee in packs or grind in specialized stores. So I noticed that when they grind in the store, the cake turns out to be drier.

Musyanya, please tell me the brand of your millstone coffee grinder and are you satisfied with it?
Elena74
Quote: Musyanya

The correct dry tablet is formed when the coffee is brewed correctly, and not otherwise.

That is, am I doing something wrong (tamping wrong, grinding is not the same, etc.) or can it be a malfunction of the coffee maker? I also sometimes drip from under the horn, that is, by ... If, for example, the coffee maker, due to its malfunction, does not give the required pressure (15 bar), then there are some signs so that I can determine myself - I not like that or is she?
musyanya
Elena74, if it drips sometimes, so to speak, around the horn, it's just that you haven't completely wrapped the filter holder, it happens to me sometimes, I then slightly "turn it over", or leave everything as it is, if it doesn't run too much. The instructions said to turn the filter holder sharply, and I'm always afraid that I will suddenly break ..
Not a specialist, but I suppose that if there is insufficient pressure in the cone, there will be insufficient extraction of coffee-coffee with light brown cream, low density. If at least once the coffee was obtained with normal cream, then most likely the coffee maker was in good working order at that time.
And I have never had half a horn of water. If I did something wrong, then only at the very top there is water in a small amount in the horn.
Elena74, what is your speed of pouring one portion of espresso? And what is the best coffee cream (which you got)?
In general, cool coffee makers (Saeko, Gadzhia, Yura) need cool coffee grinders. It is believed that it is better to spend money on a very good coffee grinder and buy a coffee maker with the remaining money. I didn’t do that, because we had no choice in stores, and bought from what we had ... We must train on something .... Already ground or ground coffee in a store, it turns out with the same degree of grind , you yourself cannot change anything, except for the degree of pressing, it turns out that there is less chance of making coffee with the characteristics you need. Although you can not go deep into the jungle, and drink coffee, whatever it turns out, it is always tastier than instant coffee, which is drunk by 95% of the population.
Elena74
Cheto, I was completely confused .... At first, the cream did not work at all, then it seemed to get better (but it did not depend on the coffee itself) .... It even happened that, making two servings (two cups), in one I got cream (I thought she was normal, if not wonderful), and in the second - no. But the cream is always light in color. And it can be different ??? what colour? I don’t even know how to measure the coffee delivery rate, it seems to be pouring slowly, but sometimes it didn’t pour, but it just dripped, I considered it a failure and that’s all (after all, it happens — you cook a dish, but it doesn’t work out) ... the feed speed is higher, since the coffee has time to cool down while it is pouring. I do not like hot things, I always dilute tea with cold water, so for me it is normal, but not for others.
musyanya
Elena74, the correct cream is reddish-brown, hazelnut color. Dense thick, more than 2mm. Solid without breaks. Homogeneous without large bubbles. Stable - lasts more than 2-3 minutes. Recovers after stirring coffee. Has dark brown stripes or spots, "leopard" "tiger". skin.
A 25-30 ml portion of espresso should be spilled in 20-30 seconds (on average 25), for the first 7-8 seconds nothing happens, then trickles like mouse tails should appear. If it drips in frequent drops, this is no longer correct, if it pours heavily, too.I measured it simply: I had training coffee and I poured it into a plastic cup with 25 and 30 ml marks according to a stopwatch (in a cell phone, or according to a timer in a micro). And some of them poured study coffee into the sink, we must be greedy, we all drank. And we liked it.
The quality of the creams most of all depends on the freshness of the coffee and its quality (the grain itself, when (it is better, if not more than 14 days ago) and how well it was fried), and it is necessary that the coffee is always ground only immediately before brewing, otherwise decent creams will not get (that's why you need a high-quality coffee grinder at home). There are some improvers that allow you to get cream on any coffee - but their real connoisseurs of coffee do not recognize it - this is a pseudo cream ..
You don't need to increase the flow rate to keep the coffee hot. I don’t know about you, but my “hotness” depends on 2 factors: how the group is warmed up beforehand (either pour water through an empty filter for several cups, if you need coffee urgently, or just warm it up for 15-30 minutes without passing water) and warmed up whether the cups. Usually the coffee is very hot and I don't heat the cups.
Elena74
Thank you, Musyanya, for such a detailed answer. I will try, currently there is no fresh coffee in the house, the freshest - a week ago. As for the creams: at first I even went to the store with an oral complaint and a request to help me in getting the creams. The sellers answered me like this: not all coffee gives cream and showed me packages with a drawn (photographed) cup of coffee. It really doesn't even have a hint of cream. As far as I understood, the field for experiments is simply huge, in principle I like coffee. I tried their promotional coffee from a coffee machine in the store - I liked it more, but maybe I just wanted more. Recently, I have had no luck with kitchen appliances. I recently returned my Kenwood km010 to the store. Until now, I have not recovered from the stress (the issue with the return has not yet been resolved - the period of 20 days has not yet expired). Therefore, the mood is not very good - maybe that's why coffee does not work out - every time I approach the coffee maker with doubt - will it work or not ???
Elena74
Musyanya, is there an approved standard for cream? Well, let's say I don't like mine, but this is not an argument for sellers. If the coffee maker is out of order, I should at least be sure of this myself. What other experiments to conduct to find out that everything is wrong with her

And for me Saeko has been plowing like an abnormal for three years - my husband and I drink a lot of coffee. I used to cook in a Turk in the morning, but after the second time I tipped the Turk over myself (I get up at 5 am), my husband dragged me to the store for a coffee machine. The toad was choking - you can't convey, she's dear of course. But after three years of use, I can say that my Saeko Royal Digital has fully worked out all the funds invested in it. The coffee brews great and, what is important, you can adjust the strength of the coffee and the volume of your favorite cup. It will notify itself about the need to clean the system, but we have had it only once. I pour water filtered from an ordinary Aquaphor jug. So if there is an opportunity, it is better to buy a coffee machine than a coffee maker. Moreover, now they are much cheaper.

Happy New Year to everyone, everyone!
I endured until January 1, and the current after the chiming clock declassified the coffee maker. =)

After rinsing (blowing, drying), two coffee makers (for comparable models, see above) on the same type (1 spoon of illy) were simultaneously launched to receive 1 cup of coffee.

CONCLUSIONS:
1. The color of the drink is identical.
2. The temperature is the same.
3. The taste of coffee has a slight difference (in the "5 bar" it is slightly sour).
4. Consistency and density are about the same.
5. And most importantly - FRAGRANCE! In the "15 bar" it is MUCH richer, brighter. And more persistent. (forgive me coffee lovers, even the cooled coffee from Delonghi smelled completely).

And about the Delonghi coffee maker itself:
+ excellent result for such a price,
+ 1 liter container for water,
+ you can always see how much of it is left,
+ efficient cappuccino maker, with smooth regulation of the amount of steam, and with the ability to move it,
+ sound like a professional coffee maker =),
+ well-thought-out horn (thanks to 2 holes for 2 cups of coffee, it CAM stands on the table when filling dry coffee),
+ small and frequent holes in the filter (it will be less thick on too finely ground coffee).

- the pump works with vibration (the cup moves slightly by itself),
- if you believe the indicator lamp "optimal temperature" coffee should be drunk in small cups =),
- you constantly need to keep a cup next to it to collect water droplets (however, a coffee machine demands from my friends too),
- "sticky" for dry coffee in a cone (very convenient) is made of white plastic (all adhering crumbs are visible).

My wife liked the gift.
Qween
Uncle Sam , I think that of all the pluses, the most important plus is that your loved one liked the gift.
